skinmez Posted April 6, 2012 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Hi there! Just gotta ask. Why do so many of you MODers make girls look like todays photo models and what not? It just look stupid to me. Skyrim is set to be a Viking environment type of of game and why ruin it by putting a girl in bikini with a sword on her back and a pretty face in the middle of it? It doesnt make sense. And why all these nude mods? You who make mods are very talanted so why waste it on this kind of s**t. Why not try to do a real, hard looking, total conversion mod where the girls DONT have makeup and the men are really badasses like the world of Skyrim should be. If you want a texture artist to help with this kinda a project i can do it. I've been around texturing from the time of Q1 but i cant do 3d models very well except weapons and that kinda props. But please stop this nonsense with all the pretty girls, better bodies, better makeup, younger lips, bigger titties kinda mods. You can do better.... Surprisingly enough, there are actually folks that LIKE that kind of thing in their game. It's all about choice. If you don't want it in yours, move right along, and find things that appeal to YOU. But i would like to have a great game not ruined by mods but instead be better with mods. People just are perverted.Some people like to keep skyrim lore others like to crush the lore by bringing in hentai anime things or nude and porn mods, it's just how it is, don't let it annoy you. You know how people are, sex sells, if a modder wants endorsements go porn-style and you are guaranteed to get some attention, not if your meshes and textures suck that is, but i do agree, i also wish some modders with those talents would spend more time making skyrim specific armors etc. instead of anime or plastic porn, but it is'nt like that, this is part of what modding is, modders make what they want to make and if that is porn or any other things unrelated to skyrim lore, fine, that is their choice no one is forcing anyone to use those mods if they don't want to. Oh and be a little careful with your choice of words, you might think those mods are garbage or s***, unecesarry, don't disrespect the modders. ;)I happen to share your opinion about these things, but i simply don't use them. It's the world we live in ... @Sk8on, You suggest to the OP that they be more circumspect in there choice of words so as not to cause offence (good advice) however in your own post you class those that wish to use the type of mods being discussed here "perverted"I think YOU should heed your own advice and perhaps edit your post? ... And i dont download mods that will ruin my game... i just wish someone with talent enough will make a mod that will make the game more hardcore, dirtier, angry and more bad weather than it is.
