Vortex turns into blank white screen when trying to install a mod

I am experiencing this white screen whenever I launch Vortex. I am on Windows 10 (updated). I have NMM installed. I was able to launch it after it's first install and it recognized my games. After clicking on one of them (I think) that's when the white screen occurred. I've now since uninstalled, reset and reinstalled, but now I can't even launch it. I just get the white screen.

I am also experiencing this issue. I installed Vortex, told it to manage Skyrim and Fallout 4, and after managing Fallout 4, the screen when white and blank. I forced it to close and relaunched, but each time it launched it went straight to a white screen after doing the logo popup. I have even reinstalled, and it just does the white screen.

According to my Task Manager, it keeps making other instances of processes that eat up a significant chunk of the CPU, then it shuts them down.

Vortex looks like a handy step up from NMM, but it is currently unusable.

A user on reddit is having the same problem. They tried uninstalling NMM first and reinstalling Vortex (link to discussion).

I noticed Vortex need .Net Framework 4.5.2 to work.

Had to re-install everything because of bad sectors in my boot hard drive. I updated to service pack 1 and .Net Framework 4 but then Vortex blanks while installing and crashes. Now it works.
