DarNifiedUIF3 doesn't work with FO3 through Vortex

I've only installed DaNifiedUIF3 for Fallout 3, even made sure the fonts were changed in the ini file, DaNifiedUIF3.esp is enabled (or whatever the term is)
Start the game with FOSE_Loader.exe through Vortex and Fallout 3 loads up, but the PipBoy Smiley face doesn't show up in the lower left corner letting me know that DaNiFiedUIF3 is running, also, the ESC key doesn't work and I have to hit Mouse Click on BACK instead.
The game loads fine, then the DarNifiedUIF3 screen pops up detailing how I can enter game mode where I can move the screen elements around, then I'm supposed to click on OK to exit the screen, except I can't.
I can click on OK forever and nothing happens, I have to Alt-Tab, and use Task Manager to shut down FO3.

1. Darn UI shows as enabled, in the Plugins and Mods tabs, everything is installed fine, the Textures, Menu, Font etc folders are where they should be, with the proper content in each folder.

2. At game start the Pipboy Icon doesn't show up indicating Darn UI is working/enabled, also ESC doesn't work in Main Menu

3. Darn UI configuration pops up in game, but cannot be closed by clicking on OK, and ESC doesn't work in game., have to alt-tab, and use Task Manager to shut down FO3.

It sounds like archive invalidation isn't working properly. I remember reading another thread where someone was having issues with a texture pack not showing up in game with Oblivion. Vortex should've given you a prompt to reset the archive dates, but it may not be doing anything more than that. Try setting up ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated and see if that fixes it.

Thanks!

That worked!

So I guess it's safe to assume the built in one in Vortex doesn't work, or at least doesn't work with FO3 and Oblivion.
