NMM was created at the time to have a mod manager that supported some games, not all of them. It's not like mods were created for NMM, it's the other way around. NMM in it's latest release does not support Kingdom Come and mods will be have to installed either through Vortex or manually. See the Nexus Wiki for Kingdom Come for details.
