DarkArmanVampireLord
Well I did exactly as you instructed and still the error of failed to update master list won't get fixed, must add the C:\Users\<NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrimse\masterlist\masterlist.yaml was empty for me. OK, check and see if you have these paths, because I just looked in the paths I posted and I don't have ANY games with a Masterlist and userlist at that path, but I DO have that all here... C:\ProgramData\Vortex\<GAME NAME>\userlist.yaml C:\ProgramData\Vortex\<GAME NAME>\masterlist\masterlist.yaml That's where mine are located.See if yours are there too Again thanks for your support I'll check your new advice tomorrow. HadToRegister
You mean I must search the master list by Windows and then copy them in the path you mentioned? YEa, have windows search your C:\ drive for masterlist.yaml When you find it, right click on it and pick "Open file Location", now you'll know where it is for future reference. While you're in the folder, rename the masterlist.yaml to something else. Then start Vortex, vortex should then regenerate a new one

Well it is the same s#*!, different day for me... I do want to play Skyrim. I never ever get tired of this game however this error, bug or what damn thing it is, has been preventing me from playing my favorite game, I didn't have any other master list file in my windows except the one that I had downloaded from a site suggested here in page 1 of this topic so after searching and finding it I did as you had instructed and still nothing changed. So when you found it, you named it something else and reopened Vortex and it still didn't work? Did you also change the name of userlist.yaml and let Vortex remake that one too? Where do you have Vortex installed?

Shincou
Excuse me, I have the same problem except I don't have access to a LAN cable to connect my PC to the internet and followed the above steps (Which was to delete the userlist, rename the masterlist in the other location and restart Vortex). May I acquire help?
