bumping this since i am having the same problem with the latest version... quicksearch working on website etc but cannot log in at the program at all. tried to restart vortex as well as my computer but it doesnt help at all.

Been having this problem as well, happening over the last couple days. Had to go manual or just switch over to MO

Butting this year old thread because it's happening to me now.

 

Over the past year, has anyone learned anything about the cause or what can be done?

 

I've been using Vortex for over a year now, and never much trouble with it before.

Just the servers acting up would be my guess. DL speed has dropped a bit 2. Think when servers are busy they tend to prioritize what to do. Think API is fist thing to go when normal site is struggling.

Happens more on days when a lot of pple have holidays and stuff..

 

edit: what a great day i picked for a reinstall........steam DL was struggling a bit 2.......be glad when pple have to get back to work again :-)

Been having this issue since yesterday, Vortex keeps saying download failed and gives an error about a Socket Timeout, thought leaving it for 24 hours or so would be different but same thing sadly.

 

Edit: Got "API Unreachable" on my next attempt.

Having the same issues here as well, mod pages are taking longer and longer to load.
