Deleted54170User
For the record it was Jan and Dean and Dead Man's Curve was on Sunset Blvd not 101. Better double check those mushrooms on your pizza. That is correct! Maybe I should send a pizza coupon to everyone that posts a comment correcting me?! I tried giving away a Cadillac over our stations closed circuit campus station with no luck.. I would likely need Dark0ne's permission to run a PIZZA COUPON GAME so don't bother applying your skill at Winning here! It makes me think about what you add to your forums threads of Peace-Ah! I don't know for sure, but your silly cybin jests about mushrooms suggests you have a familiarity with more then the standard mushrooms yourself. I am a late bloomer when it comes to Parties with Party Favors that were common and not all illegal at the time... I read Timothy Leary's documents on the stuff dreams are made of when I was in school at college. All of the parties had died down to a dull roar in my home town by the time I exited the military with an Honorable Discharge. There were a bunch of frauds trying to sell the stuff around campus though. Another student who was doing community service for a couple of infractions talked me into helping him out since I was still considered wet behind the ears about addictions with alcohol and drugs. We shared the pros and cons of drugs in our military dorm meeting room. Then ended it with the movie Reefer Madness to help debunk allot of stories about party favors. We were busy showing it at the other dorms and got all the free highs off of second hand smoke during our showings without ever touching a pipe or joint. There was no need to and I was quite not amused by Ex-Pres Clinton statement. Marijuana was illegal at the time. It was only a recently added law to the books though. So not many people were worried about the campus police enforcing it while they went straight forward to the kitchen from the living room where everyone was playing Trivial Pursuit. They were busy getting stuffed with food. :teehee: Yes! My words do hide guilt. Hiding the fact I was so stupid and innocent at that age when most of the children K-12 already were formally educated at home by pot heads. That's what I get for having a really strict Mom who was the President of the local chapter of Toastmasters while I was still in diapers.I do recall how great potato salad with a side of deviled eggs tasted at the co-op dorms. mmm! Yum!
Deleted54170User
The common mushrooms used on pizza are really mostly bloat after the cooking because the dutch style oven literally boils any content good for us out. After cooking in ovens even the most resilient mushroom tends to be a filler like cardboard just for packing. They are best cooked at low heat and only very briefly if you desire more flavor. IMO they should be saute and low heat applied and then separately added to a pizza after the pizza comes out of the oven.
BlackRampage
Gotta admit. Kinda curious why you're calling it a Dutch style oven.
Deleted54170User
Even the basic home style oven is like the stone oven with a hole in the side used in cooking. The difference it the door of an oven is closed and heat is trapped inside to get the best distribution. Where a Dutch style old stone oven outside has no door to close, but it's heat is intense though.
gamevsreality
I suspect you may have a taste for sourdough wheat too. It's a highly likely part of the taste sensation you get when you reheat the bread. That cheese and the sourdough bread. Nice combo. If you would like you could confirm your taste delight by trying some fresh baked sourdough bread and reheat a slice the next day. I know someone who used to make a batch of sourdough wheat for pancakes for breakfast on weekends. I bought a pizza just to test it out aaannnnnnnd you're wrong! It's more the cheese and sauce together that gets a different taste after reheating after a night in the fridge.I always keep my bread in the fridge and it doesn't really get much of a different taste besides warm bread after having it in the microwave. (most often with cheese and ham on it) Edited March 23, 2018 by gamevsreality

The "Dutch oven", as it is called, is basically just a big cooking pot with a close-fitting lid.
Deleted54170User
Well! I must be dying. I seem to be living in a place in the past where everything is different then I remember. Oh! Well. I won't be going anywhere that I could get into harms way. I'll just call the hospital and have them cart me off to the little palace with soft pillow covered walls as soon as I see a moment of clarity like now. After I get dressed though. There's no way I am going outside the area in my T-Shirt and Boxer shorts and fuzzy slippers. Got to go before I change my mind. Or it changes my focus again. Deleted54170User
A new taste I have become fond of. I found a pizza topped with Cilantro and basil with slices of tomato and cheese. The title on the box said, "Cilantro Pesto".
