SAp858
What about the people who can't download super large files in one sitting? Will there be a way to still download in multiple parts?
trepmaws
@SAp858I guess that'll depend on the mod author.
D4id4105
@SAp858I think that's what the pause/resume options are supposed to address.
Hritikmaster
Upload limit increased to 5 gb ,, This size is really close to the whole game size.SO nice work guys..
Zaldir
@SAp858: As has been stated, the pause/resume function for downloading files addresses this. @BosmerSpock: This usually happens during high-traffic periods, or when the file is recently uploaded. @jonasl2004: There are a lot of mods/texture packs already that goes above the 1GB limit, so they have to separate the files. Now, they won't have to.
Natterforme
Just think of it. The possibility of multipart 5GB downloads is upon us.^^ Complete texture replacements? Huge new landmasses? Giant armor and weapon packs? Ridiculously long quests and huge player houses? Probably. Imagine a 5GB player home. Can you? I know I can. :D. -Natterforme
Saiodin
Wow, great announcement. I can't wait for the new upload manager. I had several upload drops also, very annoying, because my connection isn't very stable. I'm really looking forward to it - and the new code! MorwynKelm
Time to update the error page(s): "The site has run in to a problem, please look at the error message below... The file you uploaded was over the file size limit for this site. Images have a max size of 1.5MB, files have a max size of 300MB." Thanks! And while you're at it, up the limit for the photos. :)
