It was just near impossible to tell his age from just looking at him. In the battle-tower, of what had once been a fortress way back before the Tooze had existed let alone the Aratorons, he sat and examined an ancient ugly tome that sat slanted on a special reading desk before him; the desk was a magical artefact that helped protect the reader from that which was being read. Oldvasto shook his head, with an expression of fearful disgust on his face. "How did you get this thing?" The Eternal Champion, Jadekia, stood all sexy, deadly and eternally young close to the desk. She flicked back her hair in a way that made him wish that he was at least a thousand years younger. "We True Eternals are of the Ways and we do what we are, are what we do." It was a nice way of her telling him that she would not, could not, tell him. Oldvasto sighed. "The other island of Quamaire, the one that is both existing and not there, this volume of the Necrofilena must have come from there at one stage. ShadaQuamaire, the land of sorrow, the place of the very first necromancers of Nirn, the place of a million zombies, I hope that it is not involved in the terrible things that are happening now. Yet I know that my worst fears are true. Once I helped to create, the 999 Necrofilena Volumes, the 999 Necrofelens and the 999 Necronards. Now I will be given a chance to destroy the last of them." Some mice scuttled across the floor to deposit tasty bits into a banking bowl; Oldvasto had a deal with them that he would preserve extra foods, if they did not over breed, and even add to the stocks. When a mouse died of old age, Oldvasto animated the dead bodies only enough so that cats could play with them before eating them. A big old cat watched the mice, got bored and started another cat nap. Any cat nap was necessary for getting over the last cat nap and preparing for the next cat nap. She shook her head. "You only helped to create them and you will only help to destroy them. After you make love with me, then we will once more analyse that book, Volume #001 of the Second Set of the Necrofilena." Oldvasto knew he would father a child with the Eternal Champion, he was one of her husbands, and that she would stay with him as other aspects of the Eternal Champion were busy elsewhere. This was far from new as he already had fathered 129 children with Jadekia over a few centuries. He had other wives and, being greater immortals, neither knew jealousy. She was also a True Eternal. They made love, rested, had a meal, drank some sapphire wine and then began the dangerous, difficult task of analysing one of the ever evolving, distorting, deceptive, powerful, evil, antinatural Necrofilena. Such had been partly created by the Great Enemy of Life and were always a dangerous link to it, to discovering what it was up to, but it could easily go both ways and there were other threats in opening up such a malignant volume. The tentaculars devoured many of the attackers and the original defenders fought hard but it was a good thing to have the newcomers arrive with their many kinds of forces. The lesser undead began retreating at once, even the mindless zombies and tight flesh boned skeltors. The lich in charge, of the attack, did not seem to want to waste resources or risk its own existence with out good reason. CaembraZiv, and EllessTane, soon found themselves trying to organise it so that different factions, of the new alliance, were placed in such a way as the wrong ones did not end up too close to each other. Old fears, and hatreds, still lingered. Defences were still being built up, of varied kinds, and this process accelerated with the arrival of the big force of newcomers. EllessTane was surprised, and displeased, to learn that the TwistedOnes were active enough to have attacked the group of newcomers; yes, they had been weaker than they once had been, but in theory they should no longer exist. There were confessions to be made, secrets to reveal, with many of them there. Increasingly there were those who had nightmares of the slow, steady, approach of the vast undead tentacular that was the Great Enemy; or was it? Maharg67
Cool Devices!? How cool to have them! How cool to use them! How cool to show them off!How cool to trade them in for the newer, improved, model! Not so cool to become dependent upon them! Not so cool to make the rich richer! Not so cool to help damage the world to produce them! Cool devices; how cool are they really? Maharg67
My computer is fixed with the replacement of a broken down cooling fan unit with another, costing $10 Australian. I had feared it would cost hundreds of dollars to resolve the situation. Life can be ironic in a good way!

The dark, troubling, thing could not be truly defined with its shapeform. It was not Uncle Leo but was Uncle Leo truly Uncle Leo? Uncle Leo listened to a voice that he only sort of heard. Instructions came to him. Then he shook himself, awoke, and was aware of nothing that had just happened. He was Uncle Leo, no more and no less than Uncle Leo. He turned and walked out of the fixed up public rooms and he was fully himself again, or at least the compassionate, wise, trusted and respected Uncle Leo that all knew of in the colony. Twisted cyborg entities, crazy looking mishmash robots, and creatures that were like the cyborgs but with out the cybernetics. Scale armour glistened as did bizarre looking weapons. Things crawled, ran, flew or slithered through great transit hallways. Security turrets, and robots, attacked them but proved no match for the attackers, being destroyed in seconds. Who commanded them? Seemingly neither Juno or Alma? Then who? Edited October 28, 2014 by Maharg67

Paxton came to the growing alliance and with him came large numbers of Clonetroopers, Cloneworkers, robots, androids and other types of followers. They came, as sent by Alma, to assist in a fight against a threat far great than Biocyorg101. Biocyorg101 was leading a great swarming army of 13 armies, each led by one of the 13 distorted aspects of Biocyorg101. The swarming menace had conquered large areas but had not been able to get into some thanks to their heavy security network-systems. Nor did they seem to be focusing on getting into such places. No, the swarming hordes were all focused on going in the one direction, in heading towards where the new alliance was gathering its forces. But was that their actual target or was that just some kind of horrible coincidence? Either way there was going to be a large, hard, battle.
