Bigtropolis: Twenty-Five

Zero 10.1[10]{31}

The Rainbowbaby laughed, chortling, as coloured lights flashed in the air around her and other, single coloured, floating babies laughed with her, as aspects of her. OoooobusOa pretended another bubbling fart in his big frothing pool, that he was now bathing in. The temple chamber was quite lit up now and the 13 aspects, of this other Rainbowbaby 13as1, were busy making it a home away from home. Far from minding, OoooobusOa had invited her to do so. There were plasticant humanoids, animals, and other things there already but only in small numbers.

Why the second 13as1 Rainbowbaby? Security, backup, and because the Rainbowgoddess had requested it of OoooobusOa as had the the last of his own people, the OoooobusKi, that being a name used with mortals and lesser immortals.

The Shadowbaby entered, wary and agitated, and came slowly up to where the Rainbowbaby was being entertained. Then the Shadowbaby was surrounded by a soft shimmering rainbow bubble of energies. He had been accepted by the Rainbowbaby and why not for he was a reflective aspect of the Rainbowbaby. Soon the Shadowbaby was quietly enjoying the fake fart bubble routine in his own soft frowning manner.

On other, deeper, levels the three of them communicated with one another in ways beyond mortal comprehension.

Amongst other matters, the Rainbowbaby communicated his pleasure at sitting 'on' Lucky Eddie's head and suggested that the Shadowbaby try it out; the Shadowbaby considered this to be a fine suggestion; Lucky Eddie was exotic, more so than he currently knew that he was.

Bigtropolis: Twenty-Seven

Two 10.10[9]{32}

With some reluctance, and difficulty, the Rainbowbaby produced a visual 'template, diagram, illustration' of the Rainbowtoy of Toys, a special gift given to her by the Rainbowgoddess, her 'Rainbowmummy'. It was that which had gone missing as the Rainbowbaby had been 'tricked' out of loaning to some mysterious entities, the identity of which she refused to disclose for now.

The 4D impression swirled, flickered, showing the core of thirteen 'toys' being the prime, the three secondaries, and the nine fundamentals from which sprang lesser 13s, 9s, and 3s along with singulars. It was an entertainment, education, and toy for other reasons, a few of them being non comprehensible to mortals.

The Shadowbaby, one aspect of him, was sitting on Lucky Eddie's head looking less 'frowny' than usual. Lucky Eddie took this in his stride though some others were amused or even bemused. The oriental triplets lightly teased the Shadowbaby at times, causing a frown-smile to appear briefly.

The Shadowbaby had revealed that the Shadowman had brought, into Bigtropolis, an army from the NE Wastelands. The Shadowgirl had told him so, she being wary of the Shadowman's intentions in this matter. Yet that was just her nature and was no proof that the Shadowman had any dark intentions in mind.

The relationship between the Rainbowbaby and Shadowbaby, along with their expressions, was both very complex and subtle; this was to be expected considering the very complex, subtle, nature of the Rainbowbaby who was a greater living goddess child.

Walter was openly enthralled, was in genius heaven, as he studied the pattern of patterns. "This is incredible and promises a great deal in the way of growth of knowledge. It could also explain the deeper mysteries of the NewEarth and Bigtropolis."

Scullie nodded. "Perhaps the Rainbowtoy is somehow linked with the mysteries more directly than..." Sensing agitation in the Rainbowbaby she stopped talking and kissed the Rainbowbaby aspect, in her arms, on her small rainbow swirling scalp.

Was the Rainbowbaby, the Rainbowtoy, somehow linked to the Terraforming Crisis, the true nature of Bigtropolis, and so much more? How much of this was known by the Rainbowbaby and why was she so reluctant to express what she knew? What was she hiding and why were the superclones, the XFIA people, Lucky Eddie's team, and others so determined to protect her?

Bigtropolis: Twenty-Eight

The Rainbow Taskforce, as they now called themselves, had explored much of the complex they now termed the Rainbowplex (Rainbow Complex) and found that it had more facets to it than had first been experienced. Yes, it was of Wastelands nature but also, in parts, of Bigtropolis nature and of other natures in other parts. There were areas like that of the mysterious, ancient, 'dark' elves but also of the DeepioOnes, the DarkioOnes, the Empty, the Dragozo and others. There were strong glimpses of Bigtropolis as it was now but also in different historical periods before it became Bigtropolis by name and by more than name.

The Rainbowbaby had not only been there before, the Rainbowplex reflected her in many ways.

There it was, with much joy and relief, the Rainbowbaby found not the Rainbowtoy1313 but the Rainbowtoybase to the Rainbowtoy1313. She showed it off to the Rainbow Taskforce Command Council, the RTFCC, it being very important in its linkage to the Rainbowtoy1313 and a strengthening of the search for the Rainbowtoy of Toys.

Walter examined the globe shaped device carefully with various Bigtropolis hitech devices augmented by items gained from rainbow cube boxes. He spoke as he did so. "The cylinder, cube, and half sphere shaped depressions are likely to be where the actual 'toys' fit but there is nothing obvious about what fits where though some symbols are clearly related to known symbols found in various exotic archaeological sites."

It was a sphere at that moment, the Rainbowbaby having made it cease to stop changing its shape from globe to cube to cylinder and so forth. She had managed to make it clear that each shape was necessary to 'fit' or 'attach' certain items. Yet she also, somehow, managed to communicate that there was far more to the Rainbowtoybase than that which could be seen by mortals.

Then Walter spoke on. "Various IoOne Peoples, if they could be called 'peoples', have left behind symbols that are similar to some of those on the rainbow artefact. The IoOnes were always honest enough to state that they had been inspired to create such symbols as reflections of the languages of living god/goddess pantheons."

An aspect of the Rainbowbaby was in Scullie's arms and an aspect of the Shadowbaby sat on Lucky Eddie's head.

Lucky Eddie spoke. "The Shadowbaby just 'informed' me that the IoOnes were always his followers and that they still exist in an alternate version of Bigtropolis known by another name. It is a very dark fallen place and even the Shadowbaby does not like to go there. The IoOnes are imprisoned there along with 'others', many of whom it will not speak of. In truth all Bigtropolis alternates are the one same Bigtropolis though they are also separate."

Scullie nodded. "The Rainbowbaby has explained that all Bigtropolises are semiautonomous to the one Bigtropolis. She also states, reluctantly, that it was no coincidence that the Rainbowtoybase was found here, in this very chamber, but that the Rainbowgirl left it here in a 'sneaky' manner. The Rainbowbaby does not appear to be very happy with the Rainbowgirl, who and what ever she is."

The chamber was a big, mainly bare, metallic one with largely unidentifiable machines merged into one large part of one of the big walls. There were also some doors and gridded vents. Then there was the big metallic globe in the very center of the great chamber, sitting in-on a big disk shaped based; it was inside this dull rainbow coloured globe that the Rainbowtoybase had been found. There was an odd 'sense' about the globe-disk structure of it being quite 'powerful and effective' a mechanism but also of it being far more exotic than it seemed to be on the surface.

Bigtropolis: Twenty-Nine

Two 12.11[11]{34}

Inspired by the TARDISes (Timespace and Alternates Relative to Synergy), the rainbow globe-diskbase were an exotic version of such rare Timspacelord transdimensional timespace 'mechanisms'. The Rainbowbaby called it her Rainbowglobisk, admitting that Timespacelords had helped design and create it; they had done so as a tribute to the Rainbowgoddess.

So began the shifting of all of the group into the Rainbowglobisk, along with much taken from that exotic complex that was turning out to be far more than its more obvious appearances. Things taken would be mysteriously replaced, strange effects could be felt, some areas seemed to change when none were there and one was never totally sure of what one might encounter next. None of this was accidental as it was designed, constructed, for the Rainbowbaby to hide along with her company, to confuse anything else trying to find her.

'Inside' the Rainbowglobisk was surprisingly typical of a Bigtropolis area complete with a large lake, a forestland, and much else in a great bubble chamber that was a domechamber to those in it. While it was to be an excellent base of operations, there were already being planned expeditionary missions out from it. More information had to be gained, the megacity was facing increasing threats that needed to be dealt with, and mysteries needed to be solved.

Scullie looked out over the lake from a squat pyramid structure. She was amused for the great space was like the very best that Bigtropolis had to offer, was better than even the elite sectors of the megacity. The Rainbowbaby was sitting on her left shoulder, quietly studying the lake with much pleasure. What she 'saw' was beyond Scullie's knowledge but she did that the small one observed a great deal.

Scullie spoke to the Rainbowbaby. "Did the Rainbowgirl betray you or was it more complicated than that?"

The Rainbowbaby responded. "The Rainbowgirl got tricked into helping to trick the Rainbowbaby." The Rainbowbaby spoke about herself in the third person but being what she was, this somehow made sense. "The Rainbowgirl is sorry about helping to trick me and is angry at the one that tricked her; she hunts for that one, for aspects of the Rainbowtoy of Toys, and for other things. She found the Rainbowglobisk, where I had hidden it, and made sure it was safe secure before bringing it here."

Scullie nodded. "I wonder how this is related to the Terraforming Crisis."

The Rainbowbaby shrugged small shoulders in an odd circular fashion. "There was no Terraforming Crisis, there never has been one. That is a lie spread by those who stole some of the aspects of the Rainbowtoy, who tried to change the NewEarth and who caused a great disaster to take place, a great twisting or realities. Much of the NewEarth is based on things called 'super virtual reality games'."

Scullie was puzzled. "There are no such things in Bigtropolis. Super virtual reality is only used as reflective virtual realities based on Bigtropolis life. Fictional use of the SVR networks is banned! The SVR networks are all heavily controlled by the Bigtropolis Central Government. Strangely enough I have never wondered about that before but have always taken such for granted."

The Rainbowbaby nodded. "In here, in the Rainbowglobisk, the hidden ones' reality influences have no effect. Also the Rainbowbaby weakens such influences on anybody, greatly, when she is near them."

Muldor came up, kissed Scullie and then the Rainbowbaby. He then spoke. "The last of the main group is inside the Rainbowglobisk. The last salvage teams will soon be 'inside' with their salvaged items. The Rainbowbaby is very beautiful and wonderful."

The Rainbowbaby nodded. "I am very beautiful and wonderful, thank you very much! So are you and Scullie! I am very sorry for what has happened and what has been done to you."

They gave her puzzled looks and then both vanished with the brief appearance of soft sparkling rainbow energies. The Rainbowbaby sighed, very very softly, and then darted away with amazing speed. There were many things for her to do.

Bigtropolis: Thirty

Zero 11.1[11]{35}

Matters took an interesting course inside the Rainbowglobisk.

The GlobeEye1313 now observed that version of Bigtropolis with more intensity than normal. Other devices, like it, came with it such as 1,300 GlobeMinieyes under its control that spread across Bigtropolis but which focused more in some areas.

Military units had replaced police units in the battle of the Bigtropolis Central Catacombs. Power Armoured Infantry assaulted the living-dead hordes, destroying them, with power armour of different kinds, mecha and other warmachines. Heavy portable automortors, autocannons, autolaunchers, and autohowitzers rained death and destruction on the enemy beyond where the PAI units were steadily advancing.

The Rainbowgirl went on seeking aspects of the Rainbowtoy of Toys.

The Rainbowman met with OoooobusOa and the Rainbowbaby13 that was with him.

The Shadowman met with an aspect of the Shadowbaby and the Shadowman assured the small one that the NE Wastelands army he had with him was to be used against the darkness that had tricked the Rainbowbaby out of the Rainbowtoy1313. The Shadowbaby reluctantly believed him. The Shadowgirl showed up and, despite their mutual pretence otherwise, they both very much appreciated being with each other.

Bigtropolis President Tranzent II had been assassinated in public with the use of a hitech, long range, super sniper rifle. The Secret Bigtropolis Government, sometimes known as BigBrother, began trying to take advantage of the assassination to strike out against enemy factions and to shift the Bigtropolis balance of power in its direction; the efforts were met by strong counter efforts by its enemies.

The immortal Silver Beatles achieved their hallmark 1,000th Platinum Album.

Bigtropolis began preparations for the first stage of the new Bigtropolis General Elections that would effect many levels, and sections, of government.

The Wildlands experienced the attack of a large enemy army and Bigtropolis sent both reinforcements and extra equipment-supplies to assist them.

A cut down, harmless, version of NukaCola began to be sold in Bigtropolis under the name of BigCola. This was done to help undermine the illegal sales of harmful NukaCola smuggled from the Wastelands.

Torchwood found more useful data as they sought to solve past mysteries located in or very close to the Bigtropolis Central Park.
