She blinded me with Creation Kit

Recommended Posts

I've been making a lot of edits using CK. Unfortunately, in Windows 10 the program windows are a blinding white, and turning down my screen's brightness just makes it hard to see.

Is there any way to change the visual style of CK so that it's light text on a dark background, and preferably with a larger font?

Found this: https://superuser.com/questions/1002847/how-to-change-default-window-background-color-in-windows-10

It works. The main CK window background remains white, but the object window is light text on dark background, which is the important part of this deal.

I simply switched to a high-contrast theme. This works for Notepad as well, which I use to make notes while editing in CK.

My eyes are happy now.

Good thing I manually set the monitor so it was soft white.

Manual video controls can be adjusted to be more suitable for your level of visual sensitivity. You just need to practice : adjust the controls like Gamma and brightness until they are easy on your own eyes. A soft white.

That way the White isn't BLARING SUNSHINE BRIGHT WHITE even when I opened the link to Superusers in your post.
