I have had to reinstall Vortex several times already due to error. this is the lastest one. I have downloaded a mod from the site and it is eternally showing it in the process of downloading .. see picture here the worst part is that I spent all of last night trying to find it and delete it. I wanted to try the download again but.. it is no where to be found. I know that the program was to give us the users more control and functionality but end support for a program that we are BEFORE you get this program out of Alpha and for use for early adopters seems kind of poopy to me. I am kind of stuck with problems if I want any support or whatever. I just downloaded over 100 some mods ... and now I have to download them again.. and when Vortex gets better i have to do it again.. kind of sucks. How many Mbps you have for download / upload ? Do you mind to let us know ? Just to let you know that last night I reinstalled 70 mods for my new game in about 1 1/2 hours max. Regarding the more control you said that we do not have, I started to play this game today and no problems whatsoever at all. I just setup my rules in my MODS tab and I did not touch anything in my PLUGINS tab, did not setup any dependency and I did not setup any group, I just simply ( again ) setup my rules in the MODS tab and so far my game is running very good, no CTD's and so far all my mods are working as they should. (kind of) although I wish you didn't have to wait for a conflict to surface before making rules. I will watch some "Gopher" videos about vortex. I really understand him really well. Khumak Posted June 11, 2018 Share Posted June 11, 2018 I've found that downloads through Vortex are consistently slower than a manual download via your browser from Nexus, especially if you're downloading more than 1 mod at once. I always just download from my browser and just copy them into Vortex's download directory manually. Would be nice if the speed was comparable.
