What do you want out of Fallout 4?

I know skyrim just came out and i still could log a couple hundred more hours into it but recently i have been thinking about fallout 4. What do you guys think fallout 4 should be like? Setting? Mood/tone? Any new gameplay mechanics?

Personally I cant wait till they make it with the creation engine but the only problem is that nuclear wastelands are dead so their wont be many fancy visuals to show off their. I hope to god they leave the mojave desert, new vegas in my opinion was crap. I played in the mojave desert once and that was enough for me.

I think a return to DC would be pretty cool or maybe someplace like london. I just really hope that the next game is more like fallout 3 than fallout new vegas. New vegas was filled with to many gay strippers and sex robots for me. the horny guys that made new vegas (obsidian?) seriously need to gtfo.

Post what you guys think should be in fallout 4! and if you agree that new vegas wasn't as good as fallout 3 then thumbs up :P

I would personally like the following:

1. Improved shaders and physics engine (Creation engine = GameBryo + better shaders + better physics engine).

2. Better facial expressions.

3. Variety of scripting functions (get name of part of an object, etc).

4. Stick in an urban environment.

5. More weapon varieties.

I don't think New Vegas was actually that bad, at least not as bad as your derogatory statements imply.

Fallout 3 stinks. Where does all this ammunition come from? Are there massive ammunition factories somewhere that escaped nuclear destruction and are steadily cranking out tons of ammunition for everyone to use? Haven't the people at Bethesda ever watched any movies like "The Road Warrior", "The Book of Eli", or "The Road?" Ammunition could be expected to be rare and precious in a post-apocalyptic world. And actually, if the game takes place too far into the future, all the ammunition could be expected to have turned into duds.

Fallout 4 should have it be this way.

Why bother unless they fix the navmesh bug... :whistling:

A brand new engine, not this recycled crap. Fallout sucks with all this nonsense in the storyline. Where does all of this ammo come from, guns, even power supply??? Last I checked, a holocaust had destroyed everything. EVERYTHING.

Seriously, Fallout has never interested me.

A FO4 better make SENSE. Ammo better be VERY hard to find or they need to explain the way that the ammo is made. I also want less bugs, the whole engine is buggy. And the bugs have never been fixed.

Remove the navmesh bug too, or I am not buying the game. Better yet, I probably won't buy it anyway.

Make a decent storyline for it. NV and FO3 has the worst stories in history. A Dora game had a better story than NV did imho.

More melee weapon usage than gun usage. It makes sense that there wold be less firearm usage. Again, ammo should be hard to come across and there shouldn't be that much ammo.

FIRE OBSIDIAN! Those idiots couldn't design a game even when the best companies ever were EXPLAINING it too them.

Hopefully the community will be heard. But if I know Bethesda, they'll listen.

The pit expansion for FO3 sort of gave a bit of an explanation on the ammo (you could create ammo there).

I would really enjoy a local coop mode where vats would just be disabled and you could have a second person playing with you. Other than that I would also like everything that dazzerfong listed  .

There's an organization in the Fallout universe that manufactures and sells ammunition and weapons, this was very clearly explained already in Fallout 1.

As for Fallout 4, whoever makes it needs to scrap VATS and the first person perspective and make the game as it should be, i.e. isometric perspective and proper turn based combat.
