lastdayer101
Since the release of the game, I have battled with this issue off and on. On Windows 7 I could simply place my saves in a secondary folder to remove the issue, but on Windows 10 it persist no matter what action I take. -I've changed the hz at which my speaker and headset play sound. -I've reinstalled the game.-I've played with no mods.-I've updated Windows, Graphics and Audio drivers.-Removed all files from Documents except Fallout 4's-Deleted and verified the Main Menu video and mp3 file.-Replaced the Main Menu entirely. JimmyRJump
Are you using a soundcard or on-board sound? If using speakers, did you check the cables? What are your computer specs (CPU, RAM amount, GPU brand, type and V-RAM)?

A friend had similar probs, it was caused by an windows update. Sounds settings -> your sound device -> properties. - disable audio enhancement. - other format, dvd quality for example. - disable the "exclusive mode" (it allows apps to take control of your audio setup) - caused audio probs in cod. Or it's driver related, clean (re)install of the nvidia driver via ddu in safe mode may will also help. *Only try if rly nothing else solves the prob. SirGalahad
I've had some stuttering while playing the game. I heard it in Sanctuary, and may have been related to the number of radios I had playing the same thing in close proximity to each other. This is unrelated to your problem directly, I realize, but know that others have had stuttering issues, as well. I'd describe my anomaly as static, and it is definitely related to traveling between areas with and without reverb. I get it entering the first large cave of Vault 88 and around some of my Sanctuary structures. Edited June 8, 2018 by SirGalahad
