Khormin
Anyone familiar with the workings of the amazing Wrye project know if it'd be safe to .esl convert a patch?
HylianSteel
probably not a good idea. don't .esl's load before .esps and whatnot? it'd kinda defeat the purpose of a bashed patch altogether.
zilav
ESL forces to load it's master before itself ignoring any order set in plugins.txtThis is a very, very bad practice if ESL has ESP as masters as it completely screws load order. And since bashed patch is all about patching ESP mods and thus having them as masters, doing bashed patch as ESL is impossible.
JimmyRJump
A bashed patch needs to be loaded as very last. Turning it into an esl will add it amongst the esm plugs at the very top, making the patch not work like it should.
