TygerxEyes
Greetings, I am excited about the development of vortex but continue to use MO2 with some larger projects until complete then worry about porting them under Vortext. As I have been working on extensive mod lists (MO2), I have hit or come close to the hard limit without even noticing on several occasions and it's annoying to have to hand count them mods to figure out the mod list and load orders were fine - just exceeded limits - which I could have been merging after crossing earlier high count thresholds. I did, however, make an observation that I tought might be a helpful addition to Vortext - Running Plug-In Count (Active & Total Installed) which keeps a running total which is easily visible to the user. While you can scroll around and visually count them, I have to say that this is kinda dumb given the software could easily generate such information which would be extremely helpful to those whose modding walks to the edge of limits to the point of bash-merge-smash.It seems most appropriate to put these counts at the bottom the frame around scrolling plug-in list. If you wanted to polish it even more: (1) Have Total Active Color Coded - Green (Lots of Room), Orange (200+), Red (235+), RED BOLD (255); (2) Note 255 Limit (for Noobs) which might toggle off when user toggles on "Advanced"; and (3) Pre-Install Merge Plug-Ins and Mator Smash (with permission... obviously). Thank-you, in advance, for all your time and efforts with regard to considering my request and for all the work you put into Vortex (for the community) - ~Tyger~
sopmac45
You can see how many mods have you installed in you look in the game icon in Dashboard but I agree with you that a counter should be in the MODS and PLUGINS tab at the bottom and that would be nice.
HadToRegister
That "Drop File" area is taking up a massive amount of space that more important stuff like a Mod Counter and Notifications could go instead.
