vandorssen
Given the choice, I would choose immortality (with regeneration factor: I would hate to be maimed and mutilated and not have the ability to contribute to society, much less this forum, for all eternity). It is a bit of a flight of fancy, but I have always detested incomplete stories. The only reason I would desire immortality would be to “see how it all ends”. Would the universe go out with a bang or as silent as a light wind?
Indoril Nerevar
Immortality with my LORD. That would be the most blissful experience. that is why I am a Christian. a moment without the LORD would be like, for some, a day without fun.

Stanhead
I'd like to be immortal, but I couldn't handle the responsibility of having God-like powers... But you may get bored of living forever after a while. And does "immortal" mean you don't feel pain? What if you get decapitated and still live forever in the worst pain imaginable?
Chaosmaker
Being immortal is not as fun as it sounds. You live on forever and ever. All of your relatives and friends will die while you live. Sorry but I'll keep my life and move on to the next level when I die what ever that is.
Akrid
If one has no ambition to be immortal then its problay best they die. I on the other hand I would love the oppertunity to live forever and learn the ways of the universe. As for eternal pain, im sure that it would not be possiblre to make a real immortal without the ability to adapt, so in the time spectrum of eternity you would learn to deal with any kind of discomfort. However if we are talking about a magic immortal fantasy then id say if I cant adapt to pain and bordem then I should be ammune to it.
Peregrine
Immortality with my LORD. That would be the most blissful experience. that is why I am a Christian. a moment without the LORD would be like, for some, a day without fun. Why? You're given the option of immortality with god powers. How can an eternity second to someone else be as much fun as being god yourself? Especially when as god, you can simply define the happiness of your afterlife to be "2x happiness with the LORD"?
Switch
I'd choose to live like I am now. Immortality within time, when you think about it, would be torture. Sure it may be entertaining for the first few billion years but eventually you'd have seen and done everything. :P I think I'd rather live my life and then die, then find out what it's like to live a timeless existence (yes I believe in the afterlife, so sue me :P). Who nows there may be something better then immortality in the Afterlife. Plus on top of that who would want to see te next World War in there life time or the (near) exinction of the human race which is inevitable. Peregrine
Ah, switch and chaosmaker, how uncreative.... didn't you see the part about getting god powers? An eternity as god would only be boring if you wanted it to be. No matter how long you live and what you experience, how can you be bored when you can simply say "boredom does not exist" and not be bored?
