Coastal Cottage: The Blue House and Gaping Hole

I've tried to "fix" this settlement a couple times now, only to be stymied by an inability to do something I thought ideal. Originally, I could not build over the cave properly—once you've scrapped all the garbage around it, a very large crater remains. Place Everywhere takes care of that problem. I can turn that crater into a parking lot, if I desire. However....

I end up with a large and conspicuous interior surface where I would prefer something that looked like dirt, or dirt and grass. I doubt there's a way to actually apply grass shaders to make the repaired area blend in properly with the surrounding terrain, but maybe something out there can get close?

Snappy Housekit makes it easy to fix the Workbench shed, but not the blue house. Aside from the odd sizes of the original structures, Snappy doesn't have blue walls—not as far as I can tell. I thought it would have been great to rebuild in this location using the familiar blue, but that cannot happen, correct?

My larger concern is the landscaping necessary to hide the crater. I feel I can build something nice with that out of the way, even if I can't use the original blue of the existing ruins.

Thanks for any recommendations!

I usually scrap the remains of the blue house completely (see my screenshots of one of my Coastal Cottage builds in an early stage) and build over the gaping cave entrance with floor blocks.

To use ground or grass, maybe check either Sarinia's Grounded mod and/or the Grass Blocks mod. Homemaker has some smaller rocks that can be added. Nothing major, but maybe large enough to hide seams when you want to have differences in level.
