Arthmoor
The Illuminati didn't believe in slavery, and opposed all forms of religion. Two seconds on Google proves this wrong. The Illuminati was founded in 1776. That is not anywhere close to the time of ancient Egypt.Which wasn't even being disputed. You grossly misread if you thought anyone claimed the organization had been founded in ancient Egypt. What's not in dispute though is that they made/make heavy use of Egyptian occult symbols. They are not "Illuminati symbols". They're Egyptian. The Egyptians weren't evil either. What does their symbols have to do with being evil? Ancient Egypt was a fairly civilized society compared to other past civilizations.Perhaps because they were evil? When your society engages in human sacrifices (and considers it normal) and tortures their slave labor pool, that pretty much writes off any attempt to call them civilized or good. Harbringe
When it comes to symbols its a known fact that they were a precursor to basic alphabets , basically before people figured out the basics of alphabetic coding we used imagery (symbols) as our form of communication . Egyptian hieroglyphics were the most advanced form of that means of communication known to have been devised . Now if there is a conspiracy at large then its most probable that these symbols would be used exactly as they were in ancient times . As a means to convey messages such as rank , order , purpose and though I'm no expert on it , it does strike me as odd that they seem to show up in the most strange places . Like why does the symbol of an Egyptian pyramid with the Eye of Ra appear on the American one dollar bill , seriously what does an Egyptian god of the sun from about 2500 years ago have to do with American democracy formed in the 18th century , a democracy supposedly based on the example of ancient Greece . If it had of been say Zeus or Prometheus in some symbolic form giving the fire or lightning of democracy , Ok I could go with that but Ra doesn't make any sense. Once I listened to a lecture given by a Professor on symbolism and this wasn't any conspiracy based type lecture it was based on the science of symbolism from ancient to modern times (even cave paintings were included). Anyway this lecture was 3 hrs long with a half hour of questions at the end and right at the end someone asked about all the symbols being used in our society and was there any pattern to them and his answer wasn't all that interesting , but he did at the end make this odd statement. He said : " If you were to take a group of people from those ancient times and bring them forward into our time but give them no means of language to speak to us and only rely on the symbols in our society to gain an understanding of who we were . They would most likely perceive us as occultish pagan demon worshipers and run from us in terror." Gives you an idea of just how much of it there is in our modern civilization. Uhhh, imput "Ancient Egypt" into Google......Nothing on slave torture or human sacrifice. A ton of past civilizations have had slaves. That is not a good thing of course, but the Egyptians having slaves does not make them any worse then a lot of other civilizations that have previously existed. Using their symbols does not mean your group is evil. People still use symbols made during the Middle Ages, that doesn't mean they are evil. Ancient Egypt had a fair law system in comparison, and men and women were considered equal.

Either way, if the Illuminati actually was ruling the world what makes you think you would know about it? Edited May 19, 2012 by marharth

Arthmoor
Links for the proof of the Illuminati believing in slavery, and for Egyptians torturing slaves and human sacrifice. It took you longer to type that than it would have to check Google yourself and see. Not to mention the Egypt thing is common knowledge in any world history class - unless of course they stopped teaching actual history in history classes since I graduated high school. Actually, since we have graduated, they have stopped teaching actual History. They leave blanks and fill people's minds with biased crap.
