Sources for the information? its called normal game business practice, look it up.

It wont be Shivering Isles size, though it might be just as awesome in content.

Bro, Bethesda hasn't released ANYTHING on the DLC, so clearly you're lying. Again, sources or it's all false. I'm a bit disappointed you didn't provide any.

You must not have looked hard then

 

Files within the newest patches show that Falmer, vampire lords, new vampire feeding animations, animated coffins, crossbows, the Snow Elf Prince, the reading of a elder scroll, and crying children(which probably relates to old concept art that described Falmer as using children as bait for traps), amongst other things, are gonna be in Dawnguard.

 

Flyable mounts and verlet surfaces(which control things such as flails, banners, trees bending, and the fat giant, all of which are from the gamejam video, moving realistically) will either be in Dawnguard or future patches

 

Bethesda has been updating Skyrim to work with all these new things since patch 1.5.26.0 was released on 03/30/2012, which is when the first crossbow stuff was found, its been two months, which is something you only do once those features are done enough to where you know they wont be changed, showing its close to being done.

Okay, new info about Dawnguard. I've found a lot of new animation entries from DLC in patch 1.6. Key features:

 

Animations of crossbows now moved to folder DLC01.

Mounted combat with crossbows.

At least one type of crossbows will be unique with unique animation - Dwarven.

Child Crying.

New dialogue gestures:

Defensive Hand;

Hand on Chin;

Welcome Hand.

Coffin Puzzle.

Reading of the Elder Scroll.

Animation from the trailer of Dawnguard.

Scraping tree bark.

Transformation in a Vampire Lord!

Vampire Lord's kill moves.

"Serana holds Vyrthur". Of course Serana and Vyrthur are in-game NPC's (or something like that), but I have not found any mentions of these names in TES Lore.

Snow Elf Prince ascension burning.

Pour water in a way shrine.

Scooping water in a way shrine.

Has anyone else stumbled upon this? If you install the 1.6 beta patch and do a saveini console command (which forces the game to create an .ini file with ALL the configurable settings), some VERY interesting settings pop up:

Does this mean that FLYING DRAGON MOUNTS (!!!) and verlet integration (think flails and morningstars, capes, 'bendable' trees, flabby giants) are confirmed? I think so. Any .ini setting means that the game already has relevant code regarding them... all we need is the Dawnguard DLC to actually add the content.

 

For those skeptical about it: the law of conservation applies. Why would Bethesda deliberately add stuff to the game (that's pretty much inaccessible right now) that's nearly undiscoverable... if not for Dawnguard? It's not uncommon to 'prep' the game code before a DLC comes. Remember that the Construction Kit got broken with patch 1.6 due to new subrecords and headers added to base game files.

 

Also, remember that we already have the following things from the GameJam:

1. Ranged killcams

2. Enhanced underwater effects

3. Kinect support

4. Mounted combat.

 

This is a very promising find IMO. This means that we could see even MORE of the gamejam goodies in upcoming patches and DLC.

Hearthfire is September. Literally. Hearthfire is the name for September in the world of Nirn. I'd assume it will be out in September. If not that would be lame. It is also very much a copyright filed by Bethesda. It most certainly is a future add on to Skyrim, but other then that anyone's guess is as good as the other. Everyone seems to assume Magic has something to do with it because the Hearthfire book, but the Book's name is just a date. Because.....Hearthfire is September.

He must be. He hasn't posted in quite a while. Not sure what happened. Noticed a couple other regulars banned recently too. :unsure:

The release date is June 26th? I thought it'll be a month or two later.

 

The Dawnguard 360 Beta is here anyway, I haven't tried it but it seems that Bethesda has completed the Dawnguard DLC. Plus a second DLC called Hearth Fire makes me think of mages.
