Darmoth
Charm person, increases the targets disposition to you.Demoralize person, I think it's suposed to make the target retreat.Detect creature, not sure, but probably would let you spot monsters easier in say the dark, or even if you were blinded.Detect key, dunno, maybe a container or person who has a key glows or something to you, thusly showing where the key is. Detect enchantment, probably makes containers or people who are carrying a magic items glow or something, say you're in a room of locked chests, you can only open one or two due to being low on lock picks or something, you could cast this and it would allow you to spot the container that had magical items.Command Creature, probably like a mind control spell, turning a monster to fight for you instead of against you.Turn Undead, I imagine this would either slay or make undead run away, I guess this because that's what the DnD Turn Undead did. The only one I can comfirm is Charm Person.
Dr. Corbett
 Turn undead is like "demoralize creature," but for Undead. It, tragically, doesn't slay them.

Josho
it's not excatly a spell, but the drain health effect that the sword of white woe has is complete crap, it does nothing whatsoever. i used it on a mage and they deflected it back at me, and i kept checking my health while the red stuff was swirling around and i didn't lose any health. Darmoth
*Typical Nord* "Magic is for girly men, and little women who can't fight them selves!" *Breton woman* "Girly eh, I'll show you girly! (curses Nord, striping him of all clothing, and freezing him in place)"
cactoblasta
The worst spell would have to be rally. Has anyone ever actually used it? Anyone who fights on your side usually never bothers to run away.
