Vortex 0.15.7 "Open in File Manager" button doesn't work.

The topic title describes my problem. The button in question is found on the menu bar above the mods list. The button works in v. 0.15.4 but not in v. 0.15.7.

 

Is this an issue that others are having, or is it just me? If others are having this problem, then I'll submit it as a bug report if someone else has not already done so. If it's just me, then I'm asking forum members for help in resolving the problem.

 

By the way, I absolutely love Vortex. It's the best thing since sliced bread!

It's working for me, just tried it after finding this thread.

I have Vortex set to "Advanced Mode"
I've also installed it to a custom directory.

DO NOT Run Vortex as an Administrator (in case you are)

@HadToRegister. Thank you for your reply. I was almost sure the problem was mine alone and not Vortex.

 

Anyway, I'm happy to report that the button now works and in fact never did NOT work. The only thing not working was my brain.

 

When I clicked on the button in v. 0.15.4, the file manager always opened up on my screen on top of Vortex. But when I first clicked on the button in v. 0.15.7, the file manager opened as a flashing icon on my Windows File Explorer icon. Expecting to see the file manger filling my monitor screen, I didn't even think to check File Explorer and so thought there was an error. Upon reading your post, I went back to Vortex, clicked the open file manager button, checked File Explorer and voila! - there was the file manager for Fallout 4. Now when I click on the button, the file manager opens on my screen on top of Vortex.

 

Although I'm feeling rather stupid right now, I'm delighted that my problem was a pseudo-problem that required no fixing whatever.
