folgore62
I have heard ESLs are a way of getting around plugin limitations because they can do what ESPs do without being counted toward the plugin limit. So far, while following a mod list, I have found that Vortex can effectively install ESLs. OTOH, I've noted in the plugin window that the resulting plugins are listed as ESPs. So, what will happen if I get near the plugin limit? Will those ESLs simply be treated as ESPs for the final count? Or will they be freebies and not be counted, thus allowing more plugins? HadToRegister
Vortex handles them just fine, and it's the make up of the esls themselves that make them not count towards the mod limit.
folgore62
Vortex handles them just fine, and it's the make up of the esls themselves that make them not count towards the mod limit. I installed some ESLs with Vortex and they work out fine in the game. However, looking at the Vortex Plugin window, these ESLs are described as ESPs and they appear to be counted in the load order. So, if I hit the 255 limit and 10 of these are ESLs, will I be able to add 10 more mods?
