Things in fallout 4 that simply dont make sense......

If you have the ability to pacify an enemy through intimidation..and a skill like animal friend, and wasteland whisperer... then shouldnt you be able to pacify and ride a ragstad , at least for a little while?

 

why do they use pack bramins, when a reprogrammed centrybot can ...1 pull a cart full of tradables, 2 provide caravan protection, and 3 serve as caravan transportation by riding in the cart with the gear.

 

Sturgis, in the museum of freedom, tells you " i can fix most stuff, but bypassing security isnt my forte."

so you hack the terminal and swipe a fusion core. Later you give him a network scanner, and he says " most of the data is encrypted, it'll take a while to decode it."

 

Codsworth begins to cry upon seeing you again. Hes a friggen robot.

 

The assaultron you find when tracking kellog, says" I cant feel my legs" huh??

 

Nick Valentine, upon finding him in vault 114 tells you "we have 3 minutes til they find muscle for brains is dead," you open the door and he begins a 3 minute conversation with you while having a smoke.

...he smokes a cigarette with half a mouth, no lungs since hes a clockwork skeleton.

 

I dunno just had this floating around in my mind , thought i'ld let it out. post if I missed anything.

No hookers, not even in good neighbor a town run by the Triggermen. For that matter what do the triggermen even do in the wasteland anyway? I mean a nice suit doesn't really hold up against smallarms fire let alone a laser gun, most of the other other factions - including the minutemen, since even they have leather armor - would have easily wiped them out by now.

Pacify, not abuse for a ride.

Less maintenance, plus food when it dies.

1. Time relative discussion + slow goons. Only ones to react to Dino's absence are that first few. Convo doesn't take 3 minutes unless you drag it out.

2. Artificial breathing mechanism - likely the real Nick smoked, so Synth Nick replicates it.

The age-old hero cliche. I don't want to be a friggin' leader, I just want to fend for myself and remain an underling with factions I choose to align myself with. Those factions having a far more established hierarchy would be so much more believable.

The age of Kellogg.

 

Kellogg looks the same when he breaks into the Vault, as he does the day you meet him.

 

There's a section in the Institute Director's terminal related to Kellogg and his apparent agelessness. He's had multiple life extension experiments performed on him and cybernetic implants fitted, the mix of those slowed his aging down considerably.

 

The work was apparently discontinued in general, but Kellogg still takes advantage of his altered state.

When you find a skeleton on a boat with a lit oil lamp, or a lit oil lamp in an otherwise inaccessible place. Do those lamps really burn for 210 years ?

Where did the rubble excavated to build the Institute go to ? And why do they bother to dig new parts when they have disused levels and rooms ?

With 210 years of people foraging for food why can you still find a fridge in the street containing drinkable Nuka Cola ?

How have clothes lasted for 210 years and why is nobody apparently able to make new ones ?

Why , in 210 years , has nobody managed to repair any road vehicle even as simple as a bicycle ?

Even worse, why do you find Mutfruit or Bloatfly Meat in lunchboxes next to some of such skeletons?

The rubble they could actually have teleported out, or carried it to the river through that old canal tunnel, before they sealed themselves in.

But the disused levels, indeed.

Even worse, why does Nuka Cola keeps reappering in vending machines? The machines themselves don't even really make sense for that matter, but that's another topic.

Depending on the circumstances (store them somewhere cool and dry), I think cloth could survive.

And people DO make new clothes. Radstag Outfit for example.

Or even simpler, strip a car down to frame and wheels, and make a Brahmin drag it. Or do it with one of the smaller cars and pull it yourself. Or grab a shopping cart or a baby stroller for that matter!

Why is it my player can scrap and craft a Boosted gamma wave emitter in the garage, but not scrap and cast simple ballistic ammo ?

 

Edit: after 2,500 hours the inconsistencies are literally unplayable and demand a full refund :rolleyes:
