devinpatterson
Excellent, looking forward to checking those out when I get home. & don't worry about them being all right, they'r lines for many different voices, they can't be bad....barring some technical difficulties. But it helps us to figure what characters will go well with your voice. :)

Devilman1975
unrelated ...is it possible to use console commands with a controller in fl3/nv? Unfortunately no. You have to disconnect your controller before you can put in console commands.
devinpatterson
I've done some research into the Kings and noticed something in the House ending that might be worth mentioning if there are plans to allow for a Mr House playthrough. Yeah, definitely do-able. In most ways its not much more work than the independent version. Really the only one that is significantly more of a hassle is the Legion ending. So lets move forward with the assumption that the Viva NV "family" of mods will cover those three (independent, NCR, House) or at least major portions of them. Some parts may not get fleshed out as soon as others, but if we do it right, a lot of the same material will be reused regardless of your endgame. Similar to how, in the vanilla game, you have the option to light up the BOS bunker regardless of what master you serve/d. If the player arranges a ceasefire between the Kings and the NCR during G.I Blues then House will target the Kings later on. Alternatively inciting war between the Kings and NCR will end up with House leaving the Kings alone. If the player chooses not to complete G.I Blues then House will still try to force the Kings to leave and end up killing them. This is why I decide that I'm better off taking over Vegas as House's reactions to the Kings/NCR ceasefire is somewhat over the top. Yeah that's a real Dbag move, we'll definitely include it. It also gives us insight into House's new MO. It appears with some serious backup (courier & bot army) he's no longer employing a "hands off" management style, as he was previously, in re: to NV (maybe more of the Mojave as well?). Could be a good main quest line, since we can't have the "digital House revenge" quest (although it fits in fine with the other three) with the "House Always Wins". So in general pacification or elimination of factions/groups that House sees as a threat, potential threat in the future or even just plain old grudges against. devinpatterson
Here is the video where I got done saying the lines you wanted me to say. I hope they are alright  http://youtu.be/XQL3jQrpaeE Sounds great Keeindor  Do me a favor and see if you can do any imitations of in game, notable NPC's (House, companions etc). If you like I can see about putting together some sound samples, but I have to see if there is a way to do that without copyright problems. Might be restricted to youtube clips. An no worries if you can't imitate any of the games actors, plenty of chatter on the strip/casionos & new NPC's to keep you busy. But if you can do some credible imitations that would be awesome. devinpatterson
It looks like this extra job is finally coming to an end, so this week or (more likely) next week I'll drop from a 6 to a 4 day work week. That should give me a few more hours to mod and participate more fully in the thread/story etc. Edited June 11, 2013 by devinpatterson
devinpatterson
unrelated ...is it possible to use console commands with a controller in fl3/nv? Unfortunately no. You have to disconnect your controller before you can put in console commands. One possible work around (have no idea how feasible it is) is a program like joytokey which remaps the joystick to keyboard commands. Used it for emulators and it worked really well. Don't know if it will play nice with a direct X input aware game like NV.
Keeindor
I'll defently try and imitate any of the compainions/npcs in the game. If I find any I can do that are close to perfect or perfect I'll make a sample of me talking some of their lines.
Devilman1975
Yeah that's a real Dbag move, we'll definitely include it. It also gives us insight into House's new MO. It appears with some serious backup (courier & bot army) he's no longer employing a "hands off" management style, as he was previously, in re: to NV (maybe more of the Mojave as well?). After looking into the endings relating to Mr House I found some more examples of Dbaggery (it's not a word, I know  ) from him. Victor is sent to Goodsprings as a token of appreciation for helping the Courier but ends up becoming a big brother type of figure and the residents of Primm are heavily taxed if the player persuaded the NCR to look after the town. Come to think of it I never favored the NCR looking after Primm after dealing with the escaped convicts when you consider that the prison break was the NCR's fault in the first place (General Fwit Oliver removing the NCR troops guarding the NCRCF to patrol the Colorado River.) The endings for the companions regarding a House victory only seem to affect Arcade, Cass, Veronica and Boone. Arcade is said to be outraged if House wins Hoover Dam, ends up leaving the Followers of the Apocalypse and settle outside Boneyard as a family doctor. Cass isn't too thrilled with House taking Vegas either but to a lesser extent. Boone's ending is the same as the independent ending depending on his own quest. Veronica will probably grieve over the demise of the Brotherhood considering that House doesn't give the player a choice in the matter. I suppose that House would also have no interest in raising militias or a human army and choose to solely rely on the securitrons in the House version of the mod. I've also had another search for restoration mods and I've found one for Westside http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/44331//? . It's incomplete but the mod author is happy to let anyone else use it as long as they contact him first. I thought that this might save some work.
