SpeedyWildman
After the installation of the 1.6 beta update my game crashes after the bethesda logo, it loads the skyrim logo and then crashes before the menu (load/save/new game), i have no idea if this is some kind of conflict or not but when i opt out of the beta my game works fine does anyone else suffer from this and if so help me! BlackRampage
Mods? Are you using SKSE? If so: Did you update it to the latest version?
Rabbit1251
Have you contacted Steam about this? Rabbit
ericazwel
I have the exact same issue. I updated SKSE right away and still no go. Read that dinput8.dll could be the culprit and that deleting it could solve the problem. Nope. I moved Scriptdragon in hopes that would fix it. I have yet to launch Skyrim thru the launcher, bypassing the SKSE launcher but will try that when I get home. Ultimately I want to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling. Can anyone offer Speedy and I other solutions?
SpeedyWildman
I haven't contacted steam yet as I wanted to see if the nexus community had any knowledge on the problem, and I stopped using skse as after a past update as it caused frequent crashing, I have tried updating it and using it but to no effect
LuDux
That's what you get for using the beta update. It broke about 16 of the mods I was using. And by broke I mean various ctd's.
Georgiegril
Isn't part of the steam Beta agreement to report problems to them? How else will they solve problems like that before it goes live?
