Deleted54170User
Once again the bright and battle minded people find their life is not for them to live. No control over their destiny? Suddenly they are looking into the abyss and find it's gaping jaws patiently waiting for them to fill it. That's some very deep thinking indeed! Are you a monster? Is that all you wonder about; becoming a monster? Have you looked at the sky lately? Have you pondered the restraint, the above rings of Earth shielding us from the Sun's rays and blocking out who knows what else, the sky has upon us? Anyone want to take a guess whether, or not, we are ever going to break the bonds that tie us to this planet? No! NOT SEND LEGO TOYS TO ANOTHER PLANET, US! You know us human beings here on Earth that keep making babies so the babies mouths wait patiently for us to put food into them!
HeyYou
We might make it to mars, but, I am not holding my breath. There just doesn't seem to be the will to do so. Not like the space program of the 60's. Beyond that? Not in the foreseeable future. It would take us a century or more to reach even the nearest star, with todays tech. So, barring some astounding technological breakthru, I don't see humans making it out of this solar system any time soon.
Fkemman11
I think a colony on the moon is possible in the next 10 yrs or so. Mars will probably take a helluva lot more money and I'm not sure who would want to finance that venture.

Deleted54170User
Maybe a sentient Artificial Intelligent Being will venture into outer space. For whatever reasons it may think it needs to. I think I am only alive just to see the day when someone actually makes it to another planet. I think I am justified in being a little miffed. I wanted to be one of the future, people, living on the Moon. A Jetson on Earth if nothing else, working in a gear factor.
