Win 10

Switching over from win7, to win10,how is the transition with steam installed games and mods installed with NMM? Should I disable mods first? Has anybody had problems?

Couldn't really tell you. All that I can say is that I've used mods with the Nexus Mod Manager for years and switched over from Windows 7 to 10 early on. I have never experienced any issues that I can recall. I just switched and went on as normal. I hope that this can be of help for you. Bon Chance!!

Lots of people complain about Win10 and I do agree with some of it. Still, I don't seem to run into the problems that they talk about which makes me think they just are blaming Win10 because its simpler than tracking down and fixing the actual problem with their game/mods. :happy:

My experience with Windows 10 is not good. Win 7 was much better in all aspects.

same. aside from a few issues (the freakin slideshow background and lock screen is one point, the former doesn't work and both don't fit image to size instead it is zoomed in on images if they are not the same size or smaller then the first picture in the list... this is annoying and awkward when you have people in the pictures and it centers on their chests and in one case crotch areas) but beyond some small things it works fine for me. better in some ways then 8 with updates that while a bit more frequent then I feel is necessary, they are faster than 8s by a lot as long as you update as they come in.

 

Also, game wise most of the ones I have issues with didn't work for 7 or 8 either so I'm not too bothered by that.
