SogeKing123
well basically, do as stated with the SKSE installation (obviously) set SKSEloader.exe to run as admin all the time in the properties, next click Dashboard in Vortex then click Add tool, go to you skyrim directory where skseloader.exe is and add it to vortex next click play under Skseloader.exe from Vortex dashboard and it should work! Rattledagger
well basically, do as stated with the SKSE installation (obviously) set SKSEloader.exe to run as admin all the time in the properties While running as administrator can be a necessary evil for old windows-2000-games, if you need to run SKSE, Skyrim or any of it's tools as administrator you've got a broken setup and you should fix this broken setup. Now for me to get SKSE to work with SSE, I had to go into my virus/protection software and add skse64_loader.exe + the two accompanying dll-files to the "excluded from scanning"-option. After doing this, SKSE started working.
SogeKing123
This wasnt for SKSE itself to work my skse works perfectly fine, this was to get SKSE to work with Vortex because i would get the error popup saying it wasnt found

HadToRegister
From my post a page back In order to run SKSE64 from Vortex, click on DASHBOARD Click ADD TOOL Navigate to the SKSE64_loader.exe in your Skyrim SE folder.Click OK, now you should have a rectangle to the right of your SKyRim SE profile, in Vortex on the DASHBOARD. NOW, here's the important part, you need to click the Three vertical Dots in the rectangle for SKSE64, and pick MAKE PRIMARY.Now, whenever you start SkyRim SE from Vortex using the "Play" button, it will run SKSE64_Loader.exe because you made it PRIMARY.
