Resizable Columns for Mod and Plugins tabs

Are Resizable Columns for the Mod and Plugins tabs something that's being planned for a future release?

In the future, possible, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

 

Right now the table layout is done "bottom-up", so each cell determines how much space it needs and that dictates how large columns and rows have to be. This (combined with sensible minimums) gives you a decent automatic layout.

To have resizable columns we'd have to invert the entire layout flow where the customized column widths dictate how much space the cells have available and they then have to figure out their layout based on that.

In that variant you can't have automatic layout so we'd then have to set arbitrary defaults which would probably force pretty much everyone to customize their column widths to get a decent layout.

 

Or we make it even more complicated where we start with a bottom-up layout and the moment to start customizing it saves the current values as the presets, but that means the entire layout logic changes the moment you start customizing and that would be confusing as well.
