pajellen Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I would be most interested in this coming to Linux!

It got the drivers, the games, and I'm just waiting for things like Vortex before I give it a go.We have Steam Workshop but I'm not aware of any other good mod managers, especially ones that will work with ALL games, not just Steam games.
grandmastermoth Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I ran into this problem recently while playing Skyrim under Linux. We really need a good mod manager, and Vortex would be a great candidate!
FaithLV Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Keeping my fingers crossed for linux support!
oblivionfan52 Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 At the risk of starting something I didn't intend to, what is the best version Linux for this. I haven't played with Linux in years.
lukinha16 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 This would be awesome! +1 from me as well.
thebudriley Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 I would love to have support on Linux.

Mint is based on Ubuntu except has more stuff out-of-the-box. There's also Solus which I hear is very easy, and Antergos, and Manjaro, and tons more, but I'd start with the first two and recommend Mint the most. If you're on NVIDIA graphics you install the proprietary drivers with the driver manager and reboot, and if you're on AMD graphics you do nothing. Done, son! lol, install Steam and other apps from the Software Manager/Center and you're good to go. des27 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 So is this going to be a NMM clone or a MO clone? Linux has in-built support for OverlayFS, which is much better than MO's USVFS for windows. So I really hope they take that into consideration when making this.
