arbayer2
Absolutely interested in having Vortex for Linux. It'd be a killer app justification alongside Proton for using *nix as a daily driver with Steam.

67oldlonewolf
With Linux becoming more and more a gaming reality, a mod manager on Linux is not an afterthought anymore. Especially with Valve's increased focus on Linux. I have been gaming on Linux for years, I haven't had any Windows machines running since 2016. I have seen the world of Linux gaming changing rapidly. From lots of tinkering to get games working to just clicking 'run with Proton', install, and play. So yeah, a native mod manager would be great. I also understand the magnitude of the undertaking. So patience is probably the best policy.

weland
Now that .NET 6 is supported in Ubuntu LTS 22.04 there should be a clearer path to accomplishing this. :geek:
RAIDEROFTHELASTARCH
AND it should work with Steam Deck version of Linux. Most importantly of all....
