arbayer2 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Absolutely interested in having Vortex for Linux. It'd be a killer app justification alongside Proton for using *nix as a daily driver with Steam.

SCORPION2000 Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 hii am writing a better guide on how to run vortex using steam protonCool! 67oldlonewolf Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 With Linux becoming more and more a gaming reality, a mod manager on Linux is not an afterthought anymore. Especially with Valve's increased focus on Linux. I have been gaming on Linux for years, I haven't had any Windows machines running since 2016. I have seen the world of Linux gaming changing rapidly. From lots of tinkering to get games working to just clicking 'run with Proton', install, and play. So yeah, a native mod manager would be great. I also understand the magnitude of the undertaking. So patience is probably the best policy.
Guest deleted34304850 Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 nope, but its open source, and so is linux - so have at it.
weland Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Now that .NET 6 is supported in Ubuntu LTS 22.04 there should be a clearer path to accomplishing this. :geek:
RAIDEROFTHELASTARCH Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 AND it should work with Steam Deck version of Linux. Most importantly of all....
