DatAdlers
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I need your help. The problem is one: since I switched from Nexus Mod Manager to Vortex, I couldn't be able to change the load order of my plugins. I've read that this app ''LOOT'' could help me, so I downloaded it and auto-sorted the plugins. I would like to know if this method is secure in order to not to make my Fallout crash or if there is a chance to manage load orders manually. Thanks in advance for the answers. P.S: sorry if you notice english grammar errors, I can't speak perfect english.
Dark0ne
Okie dokie, so you're going to want to read this article: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/About_Load_Orders And then once you've wrapped your head around that, you can read this article: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Managing_your_Load_Order

P.S: sorry if you notice english grammar errors, I can't speak perfect english. I can assure you that you do not want to use auto-sort and LOOT at the same time. I am not using LOOT at all since LOOT is integrated into Vortex, I would recommend to do what I do : enable auto-sort in Vortex and have Vortex to sort your plugins and more important than that : trust it ! Make sure that under settings you turn on : Advance Mod, auto-deploy, etc. - Download your mods / install and enable them - Resolve rules as mods are enabled ( do not wait till you have 10-15 mods conflicting to resolve conflicts )- Place your patches into the Dynamic Patching Group in the Plugin Section ( double-click on the patch and a pane will open on the right side, click on the arrow group window is - Default - and choose from that list, Dynamic Patching Group; close - that pane by clicking on the > on the bottom of the pane )- Let Vortex to auto-sort your plugins ( you can manually sort it by clicking on the Sort tab in Plugins but it is not necessary )- Play your game It is as simple as stated above. I have followed those steps and I have not had any problem with either my Skyrim and Fallout 4 games. Dark0ne already pointed you to those threads and before doing what I suggested to you, you should read every single thread about Vortex, especially those pointed by Dark0ne. They will help you a lot to understand how Vortex works. Remember, knowing is half of the battle won ! Happy gaming !

One last doubt: how can I recognize the maximum amount of mods my Fallout/PC can support?
