Skinjack
OK, please bear with me since I just started using Vortex this morning and I can't seem to find the answer doing a search. I'm probably doing something wrong, but this issue was not addressed anywhere I looked. I've got Vortex installed. All my paths are correct. I've imported from NMM. Everything was going smoothly. However, I got a warning saying I had Missing Masters. I looked at the Plugins tab and I have numerous plug-ins disabled while others are enabled. I had previously enabled them all in the Mod tab and they are still showing up as enabled there. I ran Deploy, FNIS, whatever I could think of, but everytime I hit the Enabled button while on the Plugins tab it changes back to Disabled after several seconds. I do have a number of conficts, but a great number of these are due to the missing masters, so I decided to wait on fixing those until I got this resolved. This is happening on some "bigger" mods, like ETaC, WAFR, AOS, RDO, etc. Any idea what is happening or that I missed in the tutorials? Any help is greatly appreciated. I have Vortex installed on my "test" laptop and would prefer to be using the same mod organizer on my heavily modded desktop, but if I can't figure this out I may need to go back to NMM for now. Skinjack
Ok, it LOOKS like I may have fixed this issue. Basically because I was giving up for the day until someone responded. I had NMM and Vortex open at the same time. I closed NMM and decided I've give this one more try. And it worked. There are apparently a few mods out there that you cannot enable when they are also open in NMM. I don't know why you can enable some and not others, and I don't know if this is a universal issue or just happening on my computer. But for now I seem to have this issue resolved. I can try to get a list of mods it affects together if this sounds like it could be a bug-related issue or if its just me being... stupid.
Grestorn
Not bug related, just two tools trying to write the same file (plugins.txt) without knowing anything from the other tool.

Yea, as Grestorn said, both Mod Managers were trying to manage the plugins.txt file, so they were fighting each other.I did that with WryeBash once too, I had locked the load order in WryeBash and was wondering why Vortex couldn't do anything
