DerSchubser0
I don't know if this came up before, but the built in Archive Invalidation for Fallout New Vegas doesn't work. At least mine does not. I tried toggling it on and off with different mod setups. As soon as I used a different method with this tool:https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/52402?tab=files It worked flawlessly, can someone confirm this? Could it be the latest version of Vortex, because I remember it working with an older build, might be a false memory though.
HadToRegister
The one built in works for me with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, Vortex adds it to the Fallout and FalloutNV.ini Also, make sure bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 is set to
DerSchubser0
bInvalidateOlderFiles is set, that's the first thing I have checked. here is with Vortex built in AI:https://i.imgur.com/CQWuRFr.png here with different method:https://i.imgur.com/LcSBI5x.jpg

hallowieners
Doesn't work for me either, custom body textures aren't properly applying.
apetrock
I also have this issue. When I try to install Beware of Girl, the installer gives me an error message. Status Fallout.ini bInvalidateOlderFiles: ActivatedStatus file fallout - AI!.bsa : File not FoundStatus Fallout.ini SArchiveList: AI! not implemented It seems like F:NV textures require more than just the one change to Fallout.ini. The alternate Patcher I linked in the first post, generates txt files inside the New Vegas folder, that need to be regenerated every time you change or add a texture mod. Otherwise some textures will not be applied.
Tannin42
Please verify that the "Vortex Archive Invalidation" mod is enabled. Then double click it and in the side bar, verify that the "BSA Redirection" ini tweak is enabled. If you changed anything, be sure to hit "deploy", then check if it works now.

If you changed anything, be sure to hit "deploy", then check if it works now.So deploying manually seems to do the trick, which means you have to deploy manually after every mod that alters the textures, a second time, for Archive Invalidation to work. The automatic deployment after activating a mod is not sufficient. Perhaps an infobox when activating the BSA Redirection would help to make this clearer. Thanks Tannin
