HadToRegister
Interesting, mine looks like this and I had no problems with NMCNot sure why it has TWO entries for Vortex redirection thoughNot sure where the "Fallout - AI!.bsa" came from either [Archive]SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txtiRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1iRetainFilenameStringTable=1iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0bInvalidateOlderFiles=1bUseArchives=1SArchiveList=Vortex - BSA Redirection.bsa, Vortex - BSA Redirection.bsa, Fallout - AI!.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa
AugustaCalidia
@vidmaster 22 Be sure you have archive invalidation enabled for your game. Then check if you have a mod in your Mod Staging Folder named "Vortex Archive Invalidation." In that mod folder there should be two items: "BSA Redirection.bsa" and a folder with .ini tweaks. Then check your game data folder to see whether the .bsa is there. If not, copy and paste to the game data folder. Since you already have tweaked your .ini, archive invalidation should now work for you.

I also redeployed the mod and tested a few scenarios including reinstalling all texture packages after enabling AI first. Did not make any difference. 2- The mod is in my staging folder. But it was not actually modifying the .ini file so i did this myself and copied yours verbatim. 3 - Those two items were in the folder. I checked by clicking on the down arrow next to remove - then went to: 'Open in File Manager'. 4 - The 'Vortex - BSA Redirection.bsa' is in the Data folder as is 'vortex.deployment.json'. I am at a loss. Not sure what to do. Is there any manual mods that will work outside of Vortex? Mine did not have the other .bsa names like HadToRegister's does but i will try adding them to the .ini file. Thanks for the fast responses. You guys are great to spend the time helping others like this. Let me know if you can think of anything else to try i will keep searching and trying things tonight. AugustaCalidia
Well, I'm at a loss too. When you got everything set up, did you deploy? If you did not deploy, then that may make a difference. Anyway, you may want to try this AI tool: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35935. I used this several years ago, and I don't remember having any issues with it. But use at your own risk. If you do use it, be sure to disable Vortex AI and remove every vestige of it from your .ini and your game data folder before activating. Be sure to read the "Important Note" in the mod description. welloliveira
I tried to install mod breeze nvm, he tells me a file is missing ArchiveInvalidation.
RageBear1984
I tried to install mod breeze nvm, he tells me a file is missing ArchiveInvalidation. If you haven't already done so, finish the installation of the Breeze mod, the installer should let you bypass/ignore the warning. I *think* you are using Vortex as your mod manager, right? After the mod installs, you may have to deploy it manually (Vortex should have a little blue notification in the top right if it needs to be deployed. If it does, click 'deploy now'. If that isn't there,go to the mods tab, make sure the Breeze mod is installed and enabled, and on the top bar, click 'deploy mods').Sort your mods load order; Vortex has a little 'sort now' button on the top bar, when you are in the plugins tab (not in the mods tab).Go to the mods tab, scroll down the list of mods until you find 'Vortex Archive Invalidation'. It should be 'enabled'. Click the dropdown arrow, and set it to 'disabled', and let it run. A little progress/deployment bar should appear in the top right. When that is done, and the mod is grey, click it again, and set it back to 'enabled'.You should be good to go after that.Deploying: Sorting: Archive Invalidation: Then set it to enabled again

DevilsNeverDie
Hi, I was having a lot of trouble with textures not loading, flickering and or pink faces/eyes. I tried using every type of AI I could find, but nothing worked. In the end I think it wasn't due to the AI itself, but it seemed like the game just wasn't loading the needed files. So I added the name of every bsa file from my Data folder to the list of them under SArchiveList in the Fallout.ini. This resolved all of the texture issues I had. Not sure why this was the case as from what I found this list should be used only for the main texture files for the game so it makes sense to have only the base bsa files and the AI listed. I just wanted to mention this here since it's worth a try and would explain why even though the AI is being added correctly it doesn't seem to work, while it's actually working fine and the issue is coming from something else. MariachiLoco10
Tried this, tried archive invalidation, tried changing the ini line to " bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1" and nothing has worked so far. The texture looks broken with the black underwear, and not even the outfits were changed. I dont know what to do anymore I tried to install mod breeze nvm, he tells me a file is missing ArchiveInvalidation.
