TeturactsWill
Mods that were imported to Vortex from Nexus Mod Manager fail to open on nexus mods. The URL is missing the game when opened in browser. An example URL from an imported mod is https://www.nexusmods.com//mods/191 . The mods appear under the correct game in vortex. But a value must not be getting populated that the "Open on Nexus Mods" context menu option calls. Steps To Reproduce:(optional) Download a mod through Nexus Mod Manager.Import selected mod into Vortex. (Used the steps outlined in the wiki here)Locate the imported mod.Click drop down arrow of action button for the mod.Click "Open on Nexus Mods" context menu item.Invalid URL opens in default browser. The issue goes away if you update, or download the mod with Vortex. The url in the masterlist.yaml appears to be correct. Things That Have Not Been Tested:Importing from other mod managers.Manually downloading the mod and importing to Vortex. Version Info:Vortex - 0.16.10Electron - 2.0.10Node - 8.9.3Chrome - 61.0.3163.100Windows 10 Pro - 1803 build 17134.
FlameFury15
I believe the problem lies in your importation method. WHy not try downloading the mod into Vortex directly instead of through another mod manager etc. Vortex may use a different paser to get information, and if it is getting the information directly as the mod is downloaded then there msot likely won't be a problem. But when you are downloading the mod along with ifnromation to one Mod manager and then importing the mod to Vrotex, the information is being lost of the origin point
HadToRegister
Why don't you just manually download mods to your Vortex Download folder?
TeturactsWill
I don't think you understand the reason for the post. It was to report a bug and how to reproduce. The mods were imported from NMM which was what was used to manage the mods before vortex was announced and released. They provide documentation on how to import mods from other managers including NMM so that you don't have to re-download every mod. Those steps were followed when the bug was encountered. AugustaCalidia
Using Vortex 0.17.7 to download mods, I do not experience the "bug" reported here. Even when the downloaded mod is listed as "Never Installed," I can click on "Open in Nexus Mods" and be directed to the correct Nexusmods page. As for importing mods from NMM to Vortex, I don't know what the current situation is. I switched from NMM to Vortex almost a year ago and have not used NMM since. TeturactsWill
At the time that I created the post this was placed in the bug reports section of the forums. I also don't recall seeing an option to report bugs directly in the client.
TeturactsWill
This likely was fixed. Changelog for version 0.17.6 mentions fixing a bug that sounds similar/related.
