U1849KA
I only have one Vortex profile that works for Fallout 4, all new or cloned profiles will crash about 10 - 15 seconds after launching, even with no mods active. This only happens with Fallout 4 - new profiles for Skyrim and Skyrim SE work just fine, - so I suspect it's something to do with my install, but if anyone has any ideas where to look or what direction to head in, I would love some assistance. Thank you! Even using the same mods, with the same rules, and load order, the issue persists. Fallout 4 is up to date, as is Vortex and LOOT. You don't mention if you were starting a new game on these new profiles, or carrying an old save across. If it is an old save, I would suggest you try a save game cleaner, as well as verify the plugin order is exactly the same as the profile that works. Crashing before loading a save is NORMALLY a missing master.Use F4Edit to test load your plugins. It will list any problems with them. Also check your Vortex plugin tab. Make sure everything you expect to be enabled is.

Make sure everything you expect to be enabled is. Would it be that if it does have time to reach the main menu? Typically when I've had that issue it won't get that far. I'll see what I can get done with F4Edit. Thing is, it happens even with a brand new profile that has no mods activated. I'm going to attempt a full reinstall soon. I wonder if some left-over F4Se plugin might be trying to fire, even if its mod isn't loaded. LOOT will tell me that my version of Place Everywhere is not compatible with my version of Fallout 4 (according to the PE page, an issue with Loot not detecting it properly, not the mod or the game version,) but I get this issue even when said mod is not activated. Could there be F4SE plugins trying to fire-off when they're not supposed to? So, it will still crash even on a new profile with no mods active in Vortex, and loading through the vanilla launcher button in Vortex instead of the F4SE launcher button, and even through the default, non-F4SE shortcut. I'm beginning to think something's gone terribly wrong, somewhere.
rmm200
Rename your Data/F4SE folder. If you have purged all mods through Vortex, it should be empty anyway. This will quickly tell you if you have a bad F4SE DLL.
U1849KA
Renamed it and got a few errors in Vortex. Not sure what they meant, so I reinstalled F4SE manually. Crash still occurred, so I'm completely reinstalling Fallout 4. Made backups of a few things like the save folder, but moved it so everything will be reconstructed from scratch. Redownloading now. HadToRegister
Do you by any chance use DEF_UI?That can cause crashes before the game even loads. My guess is the profile still had some remnants of it
U1849KA
Nope. I've been wary of those since the Mechanist icon started causing issues. Welp, the nuclear option seems to have worked; so now it's just a matter of rebuilding. Apropos, I suppose.
BigBizkit
If your game is crashing before showing the main menu, you are either missing a requirement (could be a script extender, in your case) or it could be an ENB issue. Is your data folder empty? You could try what rmm200 suggested to troubleshoot futher.
