Everyone got a mic except me?

I think I am getting feelings like Codsworth did when he nearly cried, (he can' though, no tear ducts,) talking with our Vault 111 character.

Everyone got a mic except me?

Today I knew I should have bought a new mic or repaired the microphone I have BEFORE I posted

Is it just coincidence that two characters in female character and attire became very apparent when I entered into the game? Twice!

Yesterday the first one stood around casually waiting while I examined the surroundings. I roamed short distances gathering. The one today; she waved, roamed, waved again, roamed. Several times, and Invited me to join her team.

I did. She showed me her C.A.M.P.. The stash chest and a sleeping bag. Before I looked back toward her she had started moving away.

I have the audio set for Team so I heard a partial bit of what she said, as she moved rapidly away toward a building with bots trying to collect um, erm, fertilizer. I presume that because she sprinted while talking I barely turned to see where she was before; I heard her voice, before I had a chance to realize she was half way down the hillside.

I realized why I only heard a couple of words clearly, before her broadcast died out.

I turned to follow, pressed down on Sprint, and then I got the kicked out of the team message.

I have to go shopping locally now! I want to get a mic, so, I will be ready for any new encounters.

I already successfully teamed up and had no trouble playing without a mic. In that case I just tagged along and tried my best not to get shot from friendly fire.

Viviflare. If you're out there. At the ladder in the Nuka Cola factory I clicked on E:) Climb but nothing happened. I tried several times. I knew their server was mucking up the link because you got to climb it before me.

Neither my wife's nor my mics work in Fallout 76 and we can only hear maybe 20 percent of other players. We have been unable to fix the problem. My wife uses Logitec cordless headphones and mic. I use Turtle Beach cordless headphones and mic. Fallout 76 dosen't want to respond to either product. Fallout 76 is a crap game release that is ridden with bugs, we are hoping that many of the bugs that we are experiencing including player communication will be addressed soon in an upcoming patch or patches.

I bought a Turtle Beach Recon 50 headset so I could play the game properly but in a week and half (less sleep) play I have only encountered like 5 people who have spoken to me, including one French guy who I think was trying to chat me up as I am playing as a black woman. I did have one player (Orangeslices) initiate a conversation with me a couple of nights ago and when I plugged my headset in it worked. I have a feeling the majority of players are playing without a microphone of any kind (apparently there is an app to let you use your mobile phone as a mic ).

I shopped all over town looking for a wireless mic. Or. I would have to "Get out the Sun Block Lotion!"

There is just no way I am sitting with my face close enough to the monitor to get warmed up so my skin gets dry from wearing a wired mic with a 6 ft cord sitting 3 ft away from the screen.

Some body told me these type of combo TV/Monitor/HDMI/USB/DVI systems don't get warm. Dry and warm enough to raise the temperature around the station two degree F.. I wonder how warm it is up above the top where all the heat is going?

Found one! Wireless mic. Ooo! What I will be able to do with this! My day dreaming power has already started up.

If I had not had dreams of saving a few friends from starvation I would have just used the phone with a six foot USB cord so I could get baked skin. Really, it's nothing serious, just a scab on my forehead that seems to have healed now that I stopped playing on my computer long enough to notice I need some sun block lotion. As soon as I started using skin lotion the spot healed. While I was sitting there stupified by my discovery I realized I could probably use some sun shine to soak up some Vitamin D. While I was hunting for the microphone I got enough to stir something up inside me.

I got a phone message. I stared at it. I understood what it said and realized I had just been sent the charges for all the Gigabytes I used since the 10th of Novemeber playing around with the game and helping others out here. I owe the ISP for $900.00.

Before I was just paying a flat monthly fee but somehow I figured I would save money if I quit downloading games with more then half a Gigabyte to play them. Fallout, less then a Gigabyte, Fallout 2 almost a Gigabyte too, Fallout Tactics, and then Fallout 3. Fallout 4 Whoa! FALLOUT 76 47.7 GB.

I downloaded one game last Summer that was 69 GB. I retired my ISP modem. No more!

I'm going to enjoy the tourism, the stories, e.g., On the way from that junkyard I could have bought the rights too to Morgantown I saw an eyebot playing a song floating along with a bunch of Rad rats following behind him. Immediately I recalled where it was as a child I remembered a similar scene. Pied Piper of Hamlin. Anyone got some whisky, I'm a bit dry and need something to quench my thirst so I remember those days when I was amazed by such stories, myths, and fables.

Ooo! The wicked Mayor of Hamlin and all those children dancing, Dancing in the Street

Wireless mic's at online computer stores are as little as $20.00 US.

Thanks for posting!

Microphone setting is now available so I can if I want to, "Push to Talk".

I haven't learned much, about team civility, and how to work in a team with strangers. Twice, when asked, I teamed with another player (level much higher then mine) that arrived in Flatwood, when I was a lvl 3, they led me to their house, and showed me the stash chest there.

The 1st one took off sprinting back toward the farm hand area near Flatwood while I was standing there collecting my thoughts trying to figure out what the reason for showing me that, that they had a house and stash box. The other one came later and was a level 23. Directed my attention to a house, the house stash box, put a bag with something in it on the table, and then sat down in a chair.

I went back to playing on my own. I think I would only want a microphone so I could tell someone, "Hey! I'm on quest. OR I'm done playing now! Or I'm shutting down the game soon.

(NOTE) I read someone having trouble found Push to Talk didn't work for them with a friend. Another poster told them to set the control switch to the keypad C because they did and it worked for them.

I had a bizarre experience yesterday at the Atlas Observatory. I was about 2 floors down and heard a voice with a north east UK accent say "Are ye not ganna talk like ?". I have 3 of my speakers near the living room window and thought it might be coming from there but I looked around and on the map and couldn't see him. I decided that since he was about Level 62 I might be being set up so I just logged out.
