AugustaCalidia
Nexus Mod Manager never went away. You can still download and use it. Go to the Vortex download page and scroll to the bottom of the page for download links.
TheVampireDante
It's still available. https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex/ Check the bottom of the page - it's not officially supported, but there is a community group working on updating it and they've done well so far. HadToRegister
Hibring the old nexus mod manager out again as an optional launcher Guys i love you for this Site but i really hate Votex. Much respect but i pref the old one Click INSTALL VORTEX at the top of the page, then scroll down.Nobody Took NMM awayAlso, it's VORTEX, not VOTEX. It's becoming a common theme, that people who hate Vortex, seem to have no clue about the site news about NMM, and can't even be bothered to check if NMM is still available on their own, which demonstrates that these selfsame people likely couldn't be bothered to watch tutorials and read articles on how to use VORTEX. bluecrow1
I came looking for the NMM because the updater kept saying basically it couldn't find an update.. as if that after months there wasn't one.. shock horror.. no NNM at all... "as on the top banner as to where it was".. made me gasp a big WTF...where did it go.. saw something called Vortex.. installed it.. tried to make it run.. watched videos that got me to the point of.. why was I watching that ?.. as to be too convoluted that I scrubbed it off my machine went to look for any version of NMM and DL it. You can stick Vortex up you'r Vortex... it sucks balls. :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke:    :pinch: :pinch:

The common theme is that people found that the old NMM was very user friendly.. as to be just a mod manager and not needing to be anything but a mod manager... it doesn't need to be a people manager. No one's going to think.. oh click "install Vortex" to install or find NMM.. if it's not seen on where it was people will think it's gone.. I installed Vortex.. didn't think it was a good option to change to from NMM.. and I wondered what the Fcx is going on.. and get shitty with how it's too much of "not" what we had before.. as it's not better... if that now we all have to need to watch video's of what makes it too convoluted to use.. it doesn't need all the eye candy and social engineering.... otherwise it may as well just be the Nexus website "website as vortex"... which seems at most for me a waste of time to get bogged down on just to load mods.. as that I do get mods from not just nexus.. and expect that other people do as well... for me Vortex is not a better move as to create a mod manager... if I need to find another mod manager, it might not be Vortex... because to me as it is.. it's not telling me it's a mod manager.. it's telling me it's a people manager. Vortex ". . .it doesn't need to be a people manager." This statement seems to ooze profundity. I wonder what it means? That Vortex doesn't need to be a day planner? That Vortex doesn't need to be a trip planner? That Vortex doesn't need to organize household chores? That Vortex doesn't need to come up with a grocery list? That Vortex doesn't need to tell people to blow their nose? That . . . what?
Deleted28278925User
Well, vortex DOESN'T work and probably NEVER will work... constantly doesn't install or deploy mods, then when you log out and back into the program 98% of all mods are disabled and you can never get them to function properly again. Very interesting statistic that 98%. If that were universally true, why are 100% of my mods enabled when I log back in? I've been successfully using the "probably NEVER will work" Vortex for about nine months. Apparently my copy of Vortex never got the message that it doesn't work. Citation please? I'm currently using it with Skyrim SE - 189 modsFallout 3 - 112 modsFallout News Vegas - 127 modsWitcher 3 6 mods Fallout 4 - 252 mods The only people that can't seem to get Vortex to work, aren't even capable of posting in the correct forum, starting their own topic and instead hijack already posted topics, make up BS statistics, use argument fallaices like "EVERYBODY wants NMM back NOBODY wants Vortex", and can't even set the File Type when it comes to downloading with Vortex or NMM which is basic beginner program settings 101, so basically, people who don't know WTF they're doing.
