NateV8
I haven't changed any plugins at all. I was in bloodlet throne, it crashed when I shot viaghar through the gate, relaoded, it was fine, crashed again a few minutes after killing him, reloaded, killed everyone and made it to the exit and it crashed before I saw skyrim. I guess it autosaved because it keeps trying to load me outside but it crashes before I even see it. I'm very surprised SE is crashing considering how stable it is and now after 70 hours in. Is there a way to find out what is causing the crash?
AugustaCalidia
This is the Vortex Support Forum. If you take your issue to the appropriate Skyrim SE forum, you'll probably find all the help you need there. By the way, here's a link to a utility that saved my game once upon a time: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031. If you aren't using it, I recommend that you give it serious consideration. I'm not saying that it will in fact save your game, but it just might. HadToRegister
What mods do you have that affect that area and characters? Those would be the first things I would expect, and would explain why the game hasn't crashed until you got to that section. NateV8
I'm going to post this in the appropriate forum section. I would assume it would be an area mod also had I not been outside the bloodlet throne several times already. It's crashing upon loading skyrim in the outside world outside of the door to the bloodlet throne currently but started crashing at the end of the bloodlet throne dungeon. It has crashed on me before though, something to do with killing something and soul stealing (I'm assuming with acquistive soul gems mod). It's only done it a frw times though in the 70 hours has not become increasingly worse. I will move it over to the skyrim special edition technical support forum. I thought it may have been a vortex not sorting load order correctly or something /shrug. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7182756-70-hours-in-and-now-i-cant-load-my-save-game-without-immediate-cdt/ Btw how does one copy a mod list to show people my mod list in vortex? lol

Since you mentioned load order, did you let Vortex automatically sort your plugins? Or did you intervene and manually sort anything? (Here I'm not talking about resolving mod conflicts, i.e., overlapping files; I'm talking about plugin load order.) To copy a mod list I use the Windows Snipping Tool. Then I use the Attach Files upload feature in this forum. There is an abundance of alternatives to the Snipping Tool.
NateV8
Not even a reply yet over there I did let vortex sort my load order. I tried papyrus logging but unfortunately it looks like it checking so many things when the game loads that it doesn't proper log the culprit. I will change the papyrus log time. If I can't figure out the culprit I will just have to uninstall all mods and start over. Maybe I tried too many mods. Just weird that it started now. I went back a save so I'm back inside the bloodlet throne and I saved just before going outside into skyrim. Unfortunately though if I wait 30s before going outside it CTDs. EDIT: Changing the papyrus log time didn't help. I went over the log and nothing stands out before the VM is thawing/frozen
NateV8
After trying to remove some more mods with no success I've decided to say forget it. I have a new SSD coming in and I'm going to reinstall skyrim SE, Vortex and my mods but this time I will use less mods and less loose textures. So weird I hit a constant CTD in SE that can't be easily traced.
