Subsquentual2
So I haven't touched the Nexus in a long time. I had things to do.I finally got the time to come back and I figured I would play some Special Edition Skyrim... And I found that nexus mod manager is outdated and this new Vortex has become the mod manager.... That's cool I guess. I needed to redo my mods anyway...Except a good majority of the plugins of mods that I used before is in Vortex. And I cannot remove them. It's rather disappointing because I want a completely clean slate. No plugins. No mods. Nothing. But I cannot find a 'Remove' option on the plugins tab. Only "Enable" and "Disable"... If I recall correctly Plugins were able to be removed in NMM when one disabled or removed the mod. But in this case with Vortex I have no actual mods that I have installed with it yet. It is taking the plugins from before. So is there a way to remove these plugins completely so that I may be able to start fresh in Skyrim or will I have to wait for this option to 'Maybe' get implemented into Vortex? The only reason why I am even bothering with Vortex is because it seems I can no longer add mods to Nexus Mod Manager which is a real shame. I found it worked a lot better than Vortex.

You see I would love to use the NMM. I have the latest version installed however whenever I go to manually add a mod into it, either by dragging and dropping or clicking the Green Plus Button in the mod manager and selecting the desired mod, it no longer seems to add any mods to the nmm. It was because of this reason that I checked to see if there was a newer version available and found Vortex instead :/

I have the newest version of NMM. 0.65.2 so I know it isn't me needing a newer version of NMM. I have the newest. And I still cannot import mods into it. It was working fine before the release of Vortex. So I'm guessing NMM is really no longer supported. So I want to remove the plugins from Vortex but there isn't a way to do so from what I am seeing. Then please tell me why the version I am seeing available for download is 0.65.20.Last time I checked 2 is a higher number than 1, and generally whenever a software gets updated they move the numbers up.The installer is even named "0.65.2-4-0-65-2.exe"So unless the developers decided to do things backwards, 0.65.20 should be newer than 0.65.10. Seeing as there is no download option for that version on the download page. Only 0.65.20 , 0.52.4 , and 0.56.2. I found it worked a lot better than Vortex. Please clarify. Is your ultimate goal to start afresh with Skyrim SE by removing all leftover mods from the game data folder? Or is to pick up where you left off by adding new mods and updating old ones? If the latter, then uninstall Vortex and continue to use NMM, as HadToRegister has recommended. If your ultimate goal is the former, then things are bit more complicated, given that you want to remove leftover mods. You can come back to this forum for additional help in this case.
