AHAKuo
Hey there! I have just updated vortex and when I launched it, it said that I can't have the staging folder inside the game folder (Because I did.) So I moved it somewhere else. When I try to sort my plugins now, it keeps saying "Plugin "name of mod" is not a valid plugin". As if it doesn't remember any of the plugins. How can I fix this? I modded the game to perfection and would hate to see it fall apart like that.
Guest deleted34304850
thats a liberal use of 'perfection' given that the foundation of your modded game is fundamentally wrong.

Is that folder on the same drive partition as your game?
AHAKuo
Yeah, I did and it did the whole moving process. I just fixed it, the mods just needed to be manually deployed again. Thanks for the help :)

Was there a deployment pending? As in, did Vortex prompt you to deploy your mods again or did you just do it yourself?
MisterBaltaya
Just fyi even if you change the staging folder and redeploy you will have to fix any mod that is still broken anyways through redownloads and reinstalls. Especially with ones that are non-ESP\ESL based like graphic replacers. The redeploy system is apparently not flawless.

Why would you ever have to re-download when the archive is already in your download folder?
