TheLoneWolf449
So I recently decided to start up a new Mod list in Skyrim, and have been using Vortex for quite sometime without any issues, but recently I've noticed its been running very slow almost as if its freezing at points. Its usually when I enable a mod or am changing tabs. Also noticed I keep getting an error message that it can't read my saves. On a couple of occasions the program has even crashed. I know it seems to be since the latest update, so I'm wondering if anyone else is having similar issues or if there is any kind of fix or remedy for it? HadToRegister
 Are you using an SSD drive?Yes, its installed on my SSD   The reason I asked is because other people using SSD drives have been complaining about slow deployment times etc. Just collecting data. sonicmitch
Same Here. It was fast but now extremely slow. Each time I make a change, I have to wait and wait for it to become responsive again. It is becoming unusable.
nymaen
I am also encountering this issue. I am running the latest version of Vortex and have an SSD drive. Additionally, performance was very good until I got past ~ 150 - 200 mods. After that, perf dropped through the floor.
sonicmitch
nymaen brings up a good point. It was AFTER i hit the 150 mod level that Vortex performance went to a standstill. Perhaps there is some hard coded hashtable or array limit somewhere?
nymaen
I have also, repeatedly, verified that downloading a new mod and deployment seem to interfere with each other. Is the download directory being searched to find changed files>
