Plugins Won't Deploy

posting a comment because I'm having the same issue with Oblivion, but only some mods won't work, other's work just fine. The mod that ISN'T working, did work before, but i uninstalled it for a bit than went to turn it back on, but it hasn't worked since.

 

Your mods aren't working in Oblivion because you need to unzip them, and zip them back up with proper paths etc.

 

Back when mods were being made for Oblivion there was no standard for archiving mods, because most people would install them by hand, others would be made into a FMOD, still others made into BAIN for WryeBash.

 

I spent a couple of weeks converting Oblivion mods to work and install properly with Vortex

i know im over a year late, but i recently ran into this problem during a fresh mod reinstall for sse, and all i had to do was disable all mods and deploy, exit vortex, open vortex, re-enable the mods and deploy, exit vortex, open vortex. i also know this isnt a solution but im just saying what seemed to work for me

This is super late but I was having the same issue. turns out my main mods wern't deploying properly and I needed to select a method for those to be deployed first. For some reason it won't let you select the default so you have to switch to the second method for deployment then back and then set it. Then everything should deploy properly
