HadToRegister
When you start Vortex you're logged into Vortex and the Nexus?
BigDaddyRat
Yes...logged in with no problem...just get the "update available" message and then I try it, get the same message when I re-open.
BigDaddyRat
And sorry about the comment earlier...it just seems that whenever I post a question, the only decent answers came from the non-premium members and most premium members just tend to look and maybe leave comment with no help at all. I appreciate your help.

zockerjonny
Did you upgrade Vortex to 0.16.15? If you did, did you close Vortex down and reopen it? You should get a parachute for some of those conclusions you wrongly jumped to.Thank you very much.It was a small thing to do, thankfully we have forums or else i probably would have tried a lot of other things before trying something this simple (they could have added a note saying "new update available"). In Vortex settings you can select automatic updates: Vortex dashboard>Settings>Vortex. Here's what the page looks like: If an update is available, Vortex will update when you close the program. As you can see, I have selected "No automatic updates." I like to let the dust settle before I update.
