Is it possible to add shouts to followers with the console?

Is it possible, via console commands, to add shouts to a follower? From what I've seen the "teachword" command only affects the player. If you can add the shout to a follower, will they actually use them? Would lydia be ably to, as an example, Fus Ro Dah an enemy?

Sorry, i don't know the answer to that....try googling Skyrim Console Commands...I am curious as to why you would want to though?

Any NPC can be given a shout. Shouts are actually spells. By using the NPC editor ( i love that program), open up the spells tab and start selecting. All the shouts end with the word... shout.

You can select the appropriate level of the shout strength by selecting the 1,2,3 version of the shout. Open up Ulfric Stormcloak and look at his spells for an example.

If you have never used the NPC editor, take a few minutes and read the description. make sure you endorse it. its a wonderful app.

Awhile back, I added every shout to my follower with the CK and found out that NPC's don't have the AI to use shouts. Maybe a mod does it, but I figured it didn't matter since most people aren't supposed to know them anyways. Ulfrics shout is an exception made just for him.
