Installing and setting up SSEEdit

I have googled and can not find any guide that shows how to install and set up for vortex. Keep in mind I am a noob to modding, just preparing to get my hands dirty with experience. I see a button for SSEEdit in dashboard, and I have it extracted to the same non program files directory SSE is in. Other than that I have no idea how to edit the dashboard button for it to work.

 

Ie SSEEDit is extracted to a folder in >documents>games>SSEEdit , SE has same file path >games>steam>steamapps>common>Skyrim Special Edition. So Im stuck at editting the dashboard button for SSEEdit.

 

Just wary lest I choose wrong locations. Any guidance is appreciated and Thanks in advance.

I am having a similar issue.

In the Vortex Dashboard for Skyrim Special Edition, SSEEdit is only giving me the options to "make primary", "edit", or "remove".

I don't know what you mean @AugustaCalidia with:

"Vortex Dashboard>Knowledge Base>Tool Setup: Xedit"

 

Help would be appreciated.

I successfully managed to install SSEEdit into vortex.

This is a three year old thread.

 

Which of the three options, would you click on if you wanted to EDIT the settings of Xedit?
