cstiger004
Base on my experience for me 7zipguides will do more than what the user needs to do it seems to me from my experience. I switched over from WinZip to 7Zip probably about 15 years ago never went back. I have always had good results using 7Zip. On your experience is there anything that 7zip can do that WinZip can't? HadToRegister
Everything7z can even extract certain exe and msi filesI used to use Winzip and WInRar, but I uninstalled both because 7z handles every archive I throw at it

c0ax599
I always used a *version* of Winzip, in the past. But as far as Windows(10) it can handle zip files perfectly and seamlessly. I now use 7zip and rar exclusively. Both can be extracted in linux. Typos.. Edited February 10, 2019 by c0ax599
